Please note, I update slowly. A simple two thousand word chapter can take me over six months to finish. Once I get past the first thousand words of a multi-chapter story, my progress slows to worse than a snail's pace, and I'm lucky if I can make fifty new usable words happen in a week. On the other hand, that favorites list just a quick scroll down has lots of completed or regularly updating stories of much better quality than anything I've ever written, so if you want to go check those out...
Epilogue is spelled epilogue, not epilouge. That last one is pronounced eh-pu-looj, and the correct spelling is pronounced eh-pu-log. Similarly, prologue isn't spelled prolouge. Definitely and defiantly are two different words with very different meanings. Lightning is not the same thing as lightening. Rogue is spelled rogue, not rouge. Rouge means a reddish color, and rogue means a scoundrel, or something along those lines anyway. When people get rouge and rogue mixed up, I kind of just get confused, since I'm not sure what they're talking about anymore.
Pet peeve: I really don't like stories where someone from the real world falls into the Naruto world and meets the Akatsuki, and instead of being tortured and/or killed or just plain ignored (because seriously, the majority of the Akatsuki wouldn't care about some random civilian unless said random civilian appeared out of nowhere in the middle of their hideout or on one of the members' laps as is often the case), they get into a romantic relationship with one or more Akatsuki members, or maybe they even defeat the Akatsuki. For a good example of what would actually happen if a teenage girl fell into the Naruto world and met the Akatsuki, go read Down the Sodden Hill by Orodruin (who also writes really fantastic Kakashi-centric fanfics, by the way). I also highly dislike the variation of it where some eleven/twelve/thirteen-year old drops into Konoha and graduates with the rest of the class and replaces Sakura on Team Seven despite having no identification, no training, and no idea what is going on. The same pet peeve applies to any other fandom.
Other pet peeve: Everybody seems to complain about Kakashi calling his Chidori an assassination technique because it's loud and there is no way it could possibly be used to assassinate anyone. I agree with the first part. I don't agree with the second. Kakashi does in fact use it to great effect as an assassination technique in one episode. If you'll remember, he got Kakuzu with it. Kakuzu, a hundred-year old S-rank Akatsuki bounty hunter who fought the Shodaime Hokage once and lived to tell the tale, even says that he couldn't sense Kakashi. Even better is that Hidan and Team Ten were all looking in his direction when it happened. Seriously, people, I cannot stress that enough. They were looking at Kakuzu when Kakashi Chidori'd him from the back straight through his heart, and every single person present (except Kakashi, naturally) was surprised, including Team Ten, who even knew exactly what he was going to do beforehand. Kakashi clearly has some way of making Chidori work that he's never told anyone about.
Other other pet peeve: I come across fics every now and then where Kakashi doesn't nominate his team for the Chuunin Exams in Konoha, and I get annoyed when the other people in the room/tent/office/whatever are absolutely shocked that he wouldn't put his team forward to take the exams. In canon, everyone was expecting him to keep his team from participating--there was a lot of opposition to him recommending his team both from Gai and Iruka--and when Kurenai, Asuma, and Kakashi all nominate their rookie teams, everybody present is surprised because it's like the first time ever that all of a year's rookie teams are entered into the Chuunin Exams. Most years not even one rookie team is entered. So yeah, they shouldn't be surprised if Kakashi doesn't enter his team. As to his own team's reactions, Sakura wasn't expecting him to nominate them, Naruto didn't even know what the exams were, and Sasuke was kind of surprised too, so they wouldn't be angry if Kakashi didn't nominate them.
General pet peeve: I dislike anything unrealistic, which is really saying something when I like Naruto and Harry Potter and Pokemon, but anyway. Unrealistic stuff includes things like making one character especially stupid to make the plot work (eg. canon teenage Harry Potter managing to lie to Kakashi, or ANBU being a bunch of idiots), giving a character an entirely different personality with no explanation (eg. most ANBU-go-to-Hogwarts fics), making everything melodramatic, having the world and everything any other character does revolve around the main character, and breaking established laws of the universe the story is set in when the story isn't intentionally an AU. Yes, I'm nitpicky, I know.
Pet Peeve #5: The moment the phrase "[character] was/is an enigma" shows up, I am almost certainly going to stop reading, and if I don't, I'm going to start skimming. There is literally nothing I dislike more in writing than that phrase.
Bleach pet peeve: Arrancar, as well as every other hollow barring the ones just created, are made up of more than one soul. In other words, if one is killed by a shinigami, Soul Society doesn't get Ulquiorra or Grimmjow as its newest resident, it gets the thousands of souls who made up Ulquiorra or Grimmjow. Hollows actually die when they're killed, unlike everybody else; while the people they're made up of move on to the next stage, the hollow as a whole is permanently dead.

I refuse to recognize Kishimoto's explanation for the origin of chakra because it just raises more questions than it answers. My personal headcanon is that chakra's always existed, it's just that the Rikudo Sennin discovered it and put a name to it, and that isn't going to change anytime soon.
As of 8/30/13 I have fanart! Squee! It's by the Dah (who is a really good artist, and there's a link to her deviantart account on her profile) and based on my RuroKen/MLP (yes, really) crossover, and the link's here: http:// rahmakapala . tumblr . com / post / 59791379122 /
