Author has written 12 stories for Covert Affairs, NCIS: Los Angeles, West Wing, and Harry Potter.
I was AuggieDeeksNico and as you can tell from my pen name, I'm in the process of changing it. I am 'The Sheriff' or just 'Sheriff' on other sites so I'm trying to make it all same. Unfortunately, The Sheriff, TheSheriff & Sheriff are all taken. Sweet Trufflepuff is it!
Hey all! If you are reading this then THANK YOU! Your support is awesome. :-D
I wanted to put a plug in for a new site run by Pagan Ianthe. It's called Bewitching-fiction.com Go over there, sign in and poke around a little. We would love to have more author's post their stories there. There are challenges, forums and all kinds of fun. Right now it's mostly Harry Potter, but don't be fooled. We are just waiting for you to come over and tell us what you need so you can post your story there.
I live in northern middle-America on a hobby farm.
I love to read stories that make me feel happy. If I can laugh during the story, you got me. Angst really isn't my thing. There is enough angst in life, I don't care to watch TV shows, movies or read stories and books where there isn't a happy ending at some point for the heros. The happy ending doesn't have to involve the end of the story. There just can't be torment through the entire story.
Want Angst? Watch the news.
My favorite tv shows right now are Covert Affairs (Auggie, yum), NCIS (who doesn't love Abby?), NCIS: LA (Densi but mostly ECO), Necessary Roughness (ah, Nico) and Dancing with the Stars (I love to dance.)
My fanfiction is heavily dialogue based, not a lot of action because when I write I see the characters talking to each other and their actions during those conversations. Though I have been working with stage combat and martial arts for over 25 years, so when it comes to fights I can write it without much trouble.
My biggest pet peeve about reading Fanfiction is the grammar. Examples: They're=they are, their=many people (i.e their marriage), there=a place. Someone can't 'revert back' you simply go back or you revert. You're=you are, your=possession of object. You sat down, you can sit down or you set an object down. There are other examples, but really? why? That is what beta's are for correct?
Anyone want to pickup a challenge? Covert Affairs/Necessary Roughness crossover. Basics of the story are that Auggie and Annie attend a NY Hawks game and overhear a plot to blow up the stadium at half time. Add Nico and Dani, some former soldiers as Hawks security and whatever else catches your attention and let's see what happens.
