![]() Author has written 14 stories for Covert Affairs, NCIS: Los Angeles, West Wing, and Harry Potter. Hey all! If you are reading this then THANK YOU! Your support is awesome. :-D I live in northern middle-America on a hobby farm. I love to read stories that make me feel happy. If I can laugh during the story, you got me. Angst, in general, really isn't my thing but I love a well-crafted story. If there is angst involved in that well-crafted story as well as a bit of hope, I will read the story. There is enough angst in life, I don't care to watch TV shows, movies or read stories and books where there isn't a happy ending at some point for the heroes. The happy ending doesn't have to involve the end of the story. There just can't be torment through the entire story. Want Angst? Watch the news. Right now, I haven't had any time to invest in a particular TV show not to mention nothing has really tripped my fancy. Movies lately seem to be the same way. I am just done with the overabundance of Super Hero movies. Please Hollywood, not everyone loves superhero movies! Please...get creative and make something else. My fanfiction is heavily dialogue based, not a lot of action because when I write I see the characters talking to each other and their actions during those conversations. Though I have been working with stage combat and martial arts for over 30 years, so when it comes to fights I can write it without much trouble. The one thing I have the most trouble writing in ROMANCE! I can't seem to do it well so I will stick with friendships with hints of romance. So many do romance so well. I am jealous of them. My biggest pet peeve about reading Fanfiction is grammar. Examples: They're=they are, their=many people (i.e their marriage), there=a place. Someone can't 'revert back' you simply go back or you revert. You're=you are, your=possession of an object. You sat down, you can sit down or you set an object down. There are other examples, but really? why? That is what betas are for correct? Enjoy. I am pretty much an open book. If you want some information from me, just ask. I'm blunt enough to tell you if your question is out of line or if the information you seek is private. HAPPY READING!!!! |
