Author has written 3 stories for Harry Potter.
I've been reading FF for a LONG time but never felt up to writing anything. Then I had a plot bunny no one wanted to nurture so I decided to do it myself. It took about seven months! See "None But The Brave Deserve The Fair".
Please note I'm British so my stories will contain: Swearing. British-isms. Literary quotes. More swearing. Sarcasm/Black humour. Almost definitely slash. Please be warned...
If there is a phrase you don't recognise it's probably a British one - you could try w w w goenglish com
For other 'two countries separated by a common language' try w w w buzzfeed dot com/erinchack/words-that-mean-something-completely-different-in-the-uk
I like Harry Potter, Sherlock (UK version), Doctor Who, Torchwood and Inception.
I'm too cowardly for Gryffindor, not ambitious enough for Slytherin, too dumb for Ravenclaw and too much of a misanthrope for Hufflepuff. So where would I have been Sorted?
UPDATE 2/8/2016: Yes I was incredibly lucky and got to see Cursed Child on stage at the previews in London in July 2016. Scorpius Malfoy (Anthony Boyle) completely stole the show. If you thought the script sucked, I'm sorry but the stage version is totally awesome. The most fabulous thing I have ever seen. And the best line? "My geekness is a-quivering!" (p271)
UPDATE: March 2019. I am only able to write when ill! In 2013 when I wrote my first story, I had two hospital admissions, and wrote either in hospital or whilst recuperating. I had another hospital admission in 2019 and have spent my sick leave from work reworking a 1970s story 'Octavia' from Jilly Cooper, a famous British writer of romance and humour. It needed quite a lot of work (thanks to the amazing CraftyBadger) but you should be able to see it "The Tide of Thy Pride". I will post a chapter a day until it is all done (20 chapters in total)
