A little about the author...
I am a 28-year-old female currently residing in the southern U.S.
I guess i am what you would call a veteran of this site. I've been an active member for over thirteen years here, starting when I was just 15. My fanfiction writing began with the joining of this site, and pretty much everything I submitted prior to 2005 was atrocious, but that's not a shock, given how old I was. Though even for a fifteen-year-old, it was pretty terrible. I've certainly grown a lot and continue to improve my skills, though I always doubt them.
One of my biggest weaknesses when it comes to writing is my inability to finish a story. I've made many attempts at starting a long, drawn out multi-chapter story, but I'm never able to finish. My interests never linger long, and i'm usually on to something else and thus lose interest in the story. Making this mistake so many times in the past has convinced me to not attempt stories longer than 30,000 words.
When it comes to genres, I tend to stick with romance, friendship, adventure and drama. Romance is probably the genre I struggle with the most, only because it's hard for me to keep the characters believable and in character, but I'm shipping trash, so it's a genre I can't help but gravitate towards, even if I fail miserably at it lol. And speaking of shipping, I am very open-minded when it comes to shipping. I seldom ever 'hate' a ship, and even if I do, I just don't read it, nor do I openly criticize it because I don't like bringing negativity into a fandom space where everyone is trying to enjoy themselves and the characters they love. As far as my own taste in shipping goes, I tend to like male/male shipping above everything else, and I really enjoy enemy shipping :)
A quick note on reviewing...
Generally, I have a zero tolerance policy when it comes to abusive or rude reviews. Most of the flack (if any) I get is geared towards what ships I choose to write for. I would just point out that no one is forcing you to read these stories. If the pairings I choose to write for squick you out, then move along and find something else to read. I always give a heads up as to what pairings I'll be writing about, so there's no excuse for you clicking on the story and reading it if it really bothers you that much.
Q: Will you read and review my story?
A: The answer will most likely always be no, or I may not even respond to this question. Usually people ask me to read stories from fandoms I don't even participate in, and if I don't even know the fandom, I'm not likely going to get into it. That doesn't mean the story is bad, it's just I can't get pulled into a universe I know nothing about. And even if I AM familiar with the fandom, I don't like feeling obligated to read something. I like reading things of my own free will.
Q: Will you beta for me?
A: My answer is similar to the answer above. I don't have a beta profile for a reason, because I know I'd never get around to reading everyone's stories and I just don't like that kind of pressure. The big issue is I'm a terrible procrastinator :-/ Plus, while many people have complimented my spelling and grammar, I'm still not an expert. Some things about punctuation still confuse me, and I really wouldn't be comfortable trying to correct people's stories when I don't always get it right myself.
Q: When are you going to update "insert story title here"?
A: First of all, if it says "ONE-SHOT' in the summary, that means the story is complete and won't be updated. Second, I can never give a definite answer to when my stories will be updated. Most of my stories are written as I go along. If my stories were already complete, then I COULD give a date and maybe even a time as to when they would be updated. Really, the only answer I can give is that the stories will be updated when I feel inspired to write. I just lose interest so often.
7/24/16: I've decided I'll be removing Hearts of Fire. I know the story will never be finished and I'm not proud of it at all.
7/22/16: Part 2 of my WBB fanfic is slowly coming along. I've decided the story will have 3 parts instead of just 2, and the second part should be out soon.
6/19/16: I've posted part 1 of a new WBB fanfic! I can't given an exact date as to part 2 will be posted. It may take a while.
Below are links to fanart for my stories, generously made for me by other artists. If you'd like to draw me something, you don't have to even ask :) Seriously, I'm always happy to receive any kind of fanart for my stories! If you decide to draw something, please give me a link so that I may add it!
Note: Because FFN has fucked up links, you'll need to copy and paste the link into the url bar.
