As you may have noticed (or will shortly come to), i am not exactly the most normal or sane person out there, i think it can be catagorically said that i am *not* on the sane side of the fence. A few pages short of a book as some one put it the other day rather apptly, all things considering...mainly the fact that i eat my way through books at the rate of knots.

I'm English, which could probably explain a whole lot of my weirdness, along with my very freaky spelling that lacks all the 'z' that my friends across the pond use (if your american and have ever looked at the way english people spell, or vise versa, you'll know what i mean), so its not that i can't spell...well, most of the time anyway ;)

I have an overly active imagination - hence the writing i guess - and inspiration always hits at the strangest of time. Most of my work is written at rediculous hours of the morning, when i get an idea and it wont go away until it has been written. I also have a Dungeon in my wardrobe - odd as i live in the roof, go figure. The dungoen currently has a rather large population at the moment, the first occupant was my personal pet Manson (yes, as in Marylin) and it steadly grew from there. Now i have most the VC characters in there, a Michael Keaton Batman, many LotR characters and some others who i tend to forget about. Never the less, they keep me company and are rather amusing, and they seem to enjoy the chains ;)

As well as my rather expensive book eating habbit, i'm a veteran to Fanfic and writing in General, which i've been doing since i was introduced to it by my cousin at the tender age of 11. There are works of mine under lots of different names lurking all over the place on the net, some i am very proud of, and some i am not, as they are from way before my writing style evolved into anything halfway decent. I am hoping nobody comes across any of these! =) Though sadly (for me) my *best* fanfic can not be posted here, as a cruel, but un-named author had banned it, and has attacked her fans that honour her with their devotion to her characters...evil!

I am utterly against the whole concept and idea of the Mary Sue!!! I hate cliches (i admit to using them on occasions, but only when needs must) and the MS is nothing but a walking Cliche! Unfortunatly i have found a terrible abundence of them lately, especially in the LotR fandom and am loathed by it all. Now, don't get me wrong i LOVE orginal characters, i think that they are a fantistic method of exploring the current charaters and expressing yourself in your own way. But i can not stand Mary Sue's who fall in love with Legolas and has hundreds of his babies, the 10th member of the fellowship and the boy/girl that falls into middle earth. Yick...so over done and highly unorginal.

And because of this abundace i am fearful to read anything with a new name in the summary...is there any good o/c's out there??? Is the world about to over run by Mary Sue's, and is it safe for me to write with O/C's again...am i brave enough to find out?????

Does any one out there know, because i sure as hell don't.

For anyone out there who doesn't know who Botticelli was, I'll sum him up as a FANTASTIC renissance painter whose most famous works are probably the La Primavera and the Venus. He loved to paint Angels and Cherubs, but this is not really where i got the name from. If anyone out there has read any of the Vampire Chronicles by Anne Rice, they will know that one of her beloved immortals Armand is often likend to one of Botticelli's Angels and this is where i took the name from. As the whole idea of Armand is one of the best, a merciless monster who kills to live, forever incased in the body of a 17 year old boy who looks a like an angel. Its the mother of all Oxymorons.

Personality:
I am very unstable. My mood has two settings: Insane and Depressed. And both are done at the extremes, espcially the Insane! Which i always made worse by the presence of Baby Moo who encourages my madness. I am told, and i like to think that i am very funny, though i do have a warped sense of humour, and am very sarcastic. I rarely do normal things =) I cry when i laugh, and i will laugh at almost anything, i am very easily amused!
Obssessions:
I have lots of obssessions, some more than others, and some can be fleeting. My biggest one though would have to be the Vampire Chronicles by Anne Rice, especially Lestat and Louis! They belong together! This obsssion is marked by the metal dog tags Boblin got me for christmas, one has my name engraved on it, and the other says 'Lestat' as a sign of my devotion, i can, and do also randomly quote and link converstaions and other random things to the VC's. My other major obsessions at the mo must have to be Lord of the Rings, Riff Raff and the Rocky Horro Picutre show. I have also been heavily obssessed, and still kinda am with Buffy and Angel (NOT as a couple tho!!!! Eurk!), The X-files (which bar the VC has been the biggest so far, but LotR is gaining) and Stargate. All of which i have fiction for =) I get around a bit.

The Vampire Chronicles!!! Nautrally! Though, as much as i love them, the first three (Interview with the Vampire, The Vampire Lestat and Queen of the Damned) are the best. Anne has really let herself slip as of late with the horrendous crimes of Memnoch the Devil and Merrik *shudders at the thought of them*
