Hello 2015. Previously known as EmpressSavvy98
About me: I am a hopeless dreamer, with unrealistic expectations and a dirty mind. I'm not a very nice person.
I'm only 15, so expect my writing to be shockingly mediocre at best. Yes, I'm well aware that I'm also an extremely screwed in the head 15 year old...
I am brutally honest. I have no filter so don't expect me to hold anything back when it comes to the hard-hitting criticism. But if you don't want my unfiltered, blunt and harshly true feedback, I could always lie in the comment section, give you a pat in the head and lie through my teeth that your story sounds good. (Lol, just joking).
I am the epitome of 'meh' and a self-proclaimed connoisseur of apathy.
I'm not prejudiced. I hate everybody. My career choices were literally either the path of a writer or a serial killer. I chose being a writer because well, the effort is less and I'm not nearly intelligent enough to get away with murder.
A cynical believer in love. Not lost, but I'm not found either. In-between loving everything and tearing my hair out at the dying intelligence of society. In love with the feeling of love, consuming nostalgia, rain, classic red lips, smokey eyes, dresses, round retro glasses, kimchi, chopsticks, dim sum, roaming the streets of a new city, getting completely and utterly lost somewhere with friends and an upside-down map, my room with never too many windows, things turning out right when you least expect it, people leaving messages that I only find days or ages later, finding random bills of cash in the pockets of my jeans, beautiful strangers, being forever young and cute animals. I do not like people, but it's a work in progress.
I love almost every genre of music. I tolerate humanity solely because of music. I write songs too, but they're mostly private. Faves from every genre:
From Pop Punk's "90's/Early 200s Era": Green Day, Sum 41, New Found Glory, Blink-182, All-American Rejects, Sugarcult;
Later 2000s Pop-punk: All Time Low, The Summer Set, Forever the Sickest Kids, Fall Out Boy (Not really Pop-Punk anymore though), Paramore, Mayday Parade, Man Overboard, Jimmy Eat World, Yellowcard, The Wonder Years, State Champs, The Story So Far, 5 Seconds of Summer (Yes, even this band);
Post-Hardcore: Black Veiled Brides, Bring Me The Horizon, Pierce the Veil, Sleeping With Sirens, A Day To Remember;
Modern Alt Rock: Skillet, Three Days Grace, Thousand Foot Krutch, My Chemical Romance, Linkin Park;
Alternative: The Kooks, The Smiths, The 1975, Arctic Monkeys, The Neighbourhood, Melanie Martinez, Marina & the Diamonds, Florence & the Machines Lana Del Ray, Tove Lo, Troye Sivan, Lorde
Pop artists: Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande, Iggy Azalea, John Mayer, Ed Sheeran, Sam Smith, Charli XCX.
Album of the month: 1989 by Taylor Swift. Favourites: Blank Space, Out of the Woods, Style, Wildest Dreams and Clean. I like discovering new music all the time. If you have a band/artist to recommend and you'll think I like (regarding my taste in music), please say so!
My favorite place to read is: The car, especially on perpetually and endlessly boring road trips.
I can't live without: My iPhone, my laptop (also known otherwise as Bae), Supernatural, Merlin, Harry Potter and Percy Jackson
If I could be any literary character, I would be: I like myself quite well, but I love to be Effy Stoneman from Skins. Not literary but from a TV show.
Favorite authors: J.K Rowling, John Green, Rick Riordan, Micheal Scott, Michael Grant, Suzanne Collins, David Leviathan
Favorite books: Harry Potter, Percy Jackson, Ender's Game, Heroes of Olympus, Kane Chronicles, The Immortal Series by Michael Scott (those books provide me the inspiration to write my novel), The Faults in our Stars, Looking for Alaska, Hunger Games, the Gone series, Mor
Favorite movies: 500 Days of Summer, If I Stay, Love, Rosie...I am the utmost romantic, but I'm such a cynical bitch I can never actually believe it happening in reality.
Favorite TV shows: I can officially state television ruined my life. Doctor Who, Sherlock, Merlin and Supernatural are my top favourites. A few squirming guilty pleasures are Pretty Little Liars, Heroes and Glee.
Happy Holidays and Have a Crappy New Year.
