Author has written 2 stories for Touhou Project, and Sono Hanabira ni Kuchizuke wo.
Status as of 5/27/2014: I've gotten a job in the last 2 or 3 years that I've been silent. It as well as a variety of other things that need my attention have taken up all my free time. Lately, it's been cooling down so maybe it's time to start writing again. Cross your fingers!
Hey everyone, nice to meet you!
I'm a long time member of the Touhou community and actually wrote a few fan fictions based in Gensokyo a long long while ago. I felt the urge to start again so I dusted off an old story idea and got to work. I started off telling lighthearted stories (first one was a self-insert... shoot me) but the one I'm most proud of and the only one currently on this site is actually more in the drama department. It does have a few comedic breathers though.
My writing style generally matches my speech so my stories are littered with sentence fragments. In my opinion, that's not a bad thing. I'm not writing a research paper or anything -- I'm trying to tell a story. Besides, sometimes, proper sentences with a subject and a verb just don't carry the tone or emphasis I'm looking for. Like this. So yeah, that's my excuse not following the rules of grammar. I'm sure you'll find that despite the blatant disregard for proper sentence structure, my storytelling flows at least somewhat decently.
I gotta say, I love Flandre from the Touhou series. So far every Touhou fan fiction I've written has at least mentioned her once and she's even the main character in the story I'm currently working on. She's not scary! She just wants a hug!
In the future, I might start writing for other series as well. I'm an avid BlazBlue player (lots of potential for silly oneshots) and I'm following the translations of The Legend of Sun Knight and Half Prince (also candidates for more silliness) so random ideas may pop into my head. Incidentally, my latest submission based on the Hanabira series has been getting a whole lot more attention than my Touhou story. I guess this is people's way of saying that I should write more yuri love comedies instead of dark and heavy backstories? We'll see what happens, I guess.
Lastly, if you have some time, please take the time to leave a short review. It's encouraging to know if people like my story enough to want me to continue since I have a horrible habit of never finishing stuff unless I feel like other people actually care. Even if you want to leave a bad review, I'll read it carefully. I take those as tips to improve instead of insults to myself!
