Lucky Dog 1 Blast - Gian Carlo Bourbon Del Monte, a young member of the mafia, is better known by his nickname "Lucky Dog" due to his incredible good luck. Despite knowing that he can escape with just a little effort, Gian decides to take a break from mafia life while being imprisoned in a maximum-security jail. But when four young mafia captains are captured and brought to the same prison, the Boss of their syndicate makes a certain request of Gian... (Summary from Mangahere.com) - manga by Tennenouji
- It's really good. It's a bit more mature and the art is more...violent then KHR but it's still pretty good. I think those who like action, non-romance mangas should definately check this one out. Though...um - based off of a yaoi game (just found that out) doesn't really have explicit scenes...but still that BL undertone.
Karneval - The main character, Nai, searches for someone important to him, with only an abandoned bracelet as a clue. Gareki steals and pick-pockets to get by from day to day. The two meet in a strange mansion where they are set-up, and soon become wanted criminals by military security operatives. When Nai and Gareki find themselves desperate in a hopeless predicament, they encounter none other than the country's most powerful defense organization - "Circus"!! (Summary from Mangahere.com) link - manga by Mikanagi Touya
-The plot is really original, n Nai (for me) is just plain adorable. Reminds me of Tsuna but on a more...oblivious. Nai's a country bumpkin. This is one of those manga where the begining is really slow (REALLY SLOW) n is kinda...boring cuz there's little to no action for a chap or two (BEWARE!) but the good thing is that you can't forget it. For me it's like, i try to quit then voila! Wanna continue it. It's kinda shounen ai...ish. Between Nai and Gareki so... -
Baby Steps - E-chan is a perfectionist honor student, known as the "class's reference book" because he fills up so many notebooks with class material. Getting involved in tennis was simply a way for him to move his body, he never thought that it would become his passion. With keen eyes, LOTS of notebooks, and beyond diligent training, E-chan will continue to move forward in the world of tennis one step at a time. (Summary from Mangahere.com) link - manga by Kachiki Hikaru
- So it's a sport's manga. E-Chan (main dude), his hairstyle...is wierd. In one chapter, a character describes e-chan as 'a rooster haired kid' or something like that. It's really slow paced meaning, E-Chan doesn't suddenly look at his hand with the racket after a win and everyone goes quiet with awe. N he doesn't go play against a pro and win. So it's slow, but it adds a realism to it. The story really grows on you (n along the line you learn to ignore his neardy haircut) Another similariy between him and Tsuna = they're both head over heals with girls way (WAY) out of their leagues at the begining of the story. But don't worry, it's not gonna be all romantic and bleh at least, not yet.
Kekkaishi - Yoshimori Sumimura, a 14-year-old junior high school boy, is a Kekkaishi, an exterminator of monsters. He is vying with Tokine Yumikura to be the heir to the Sumimura clan. Tokine is older than he, and she is his childhood friend as well as his rival Kekkaishi. To save people from danger, and to make himself stronger, Yoshimori fights against monsters.(Summary from animenewsnetwork) Animefreak is a good web to watch this on, or gogoanime... just seach it on google.
- ...Not my absolute ideal anime. I like it, it's considerably better then most, but not my fav. I think it's a good past time, yoshimori's pretty cool. I would tell you why it kinda went ...plop...for me, but then it's a spoiler n u guys wouldn't watch it then. - It's like...51...61 episodes. Not that long. But Yoshimori (main chact) gets super duper strong...at the end. Seriously. At the end u make it good. Oh jolly damn good. -
Shounen Onmyouji - Abe no Masahiro is the grandson of the greatest onmyouji Abe no Seimei. His grandfather sealed his sixth sense (the ability to sense monsters) in order to protect him. He doesn't know about it until he meets Mokkun. While fighting his first monster he breaks the seal and his quest to become the next greatest onmyouji begins. (Summary from animenewsnetwork) link -
- This anime is freaking sad. I hate it and love it at the same time! But, give it try. The romance isn't overly...bad, it's alright. There's only a bit here and there so for those who hate romance, don't worry about it. Focus on the main plot and you should be good.
Heaven's Memo Pad - The story centers around Narumi Fujishima, the main protagonist. He is a high school student who is not very involved in his school whatsoever to the point where he does not know most of his classmate's names. However, in a chain of events, he is pulled into participating in his school's "Gardening Committee" whose members consist of himself and Ayaka Shinozaki, Narumi's classmate. He also gets dragged in as a member of NEET, an amateur detective agency filled with unemployed slack-offs who take on and solve cases on their own whims. The NEET agency is led by "Alice", who is a childish, anti-social, extreme shut-in. This is to the point where she never leaves her room filled with computer monitors and stuffed animals. Alice has proven herself a resourceful hacker and an astounding detective, which she normally uses to a decent extent on all their cases. Throughout the course of the story, Narumi, accompanied by the other members of NEET, solve crimes and murders using their limited resources and Alice's genius intellect. -This is one of my favorites that has romance in it. It's freaking depressing towards the end so...-. But the plot is amazing, the main character: Nerumi; basically meets a bunch of new people n his average, normal life turns into this world of yakuza and drugs. I don't usually want to change story plots for any anime or manga, cuz it's the magaka's ideas, but i wanted more moments between the main character and The Fourth (leader of the yakuza gang). Brotherly interaction.
Hakkenden: Touhou Hakken Ibun - Five years ago, almost every villager of Ootsuka died due to a tragic plague. But mysteriously enough, three survivors: a girl and two boys, emerged. Now living in a church, the three live in isolation, hidden from those who may seek to find them. Shino, one of the survivors, has control over the power of Murasame, the blade of life. But when the imperial church seeks to take the Murasame for themselves, their peaceful life becomes a thing of the past...(Summary from AnimeSeason) Link -
-I just finished episode 12, and it's supposed to end at episode 13. T-T I'm gonna freaking cry. Why do my favorite anime always end soo damn early! But if you're one to love a good O.O moment, or if you're a fan of Hitman Reborn, I'd definitely recommend this one. So far, it's not that sad...I mean, none of the major characters died yet so... But I don't know what to expect. I also recommend this to those who are a fan of boyxboy, there are definitely enough moments for you fangirls out there to squeal about.
K - (can also be known as K project) - Set in a world where history has taken a slightly different course from the one we're familiar with, K follows the story of a young boy whose life is caught in a psychic war between seven kings.
Ashinaka High School is known for its unique setting: the entire campus is built on an island. Yashiro Isana, aka Shiro, is having lunch with a cat on one of the school rooftops. After his lunch break, Shiro goes on an errand for his classmate Kukuri to prepare for their upcoming school festival, only to be chased by some intimidating-looking men.
