Author has written 16 stories for FAKE, Harry Potter, and Valdemar universe.
Hey everyone, I suspect I'm well off anyone's radar these days, since it's been years since I've updated anything. But I'm still here, I still log into FFN on a regular bases in hopes of finding some inspiration. I've been trying to focus on my original work in the last couple years. Becoming a published author has always been my goal and sometimes writing fanfiction feels like a distraction from that. The truth is, though, I have been writing very little at all in the last 3 years. There's always excuses to make of course, but when it comes to writing, that's all they ever really are is excuses. Writers write, full stop.
Thank you to anyone who has stuck with me and anyone new who has found and enjoyed my work. I'm hoping to start updating some things again, using fanfiction as a springboard to get back in the writing habit. Fanfiction is a little easier to write than original fiction so it's good practice. I won't make any promises though, even when I was writing and posting more regularly I rarely was able to keep them. I just wanted to say that I haven't forgotten about my stories here and hope to continue them all.
I graduated from Bemidji State University with degrees in Creative Writing (bachelors of fine arts) and Humanities (bachelors of arts), with a minor Women's studies and another in International Studies in May 2007. Parts of my senior project "The King's Man" can be found at Fiction Press. In addition to 'Fake' and 'Harry Potter' I enjoy reading Lemony Snicket and other kids lit. My favorite authors are Stephen King, Marion Zimmer Bradley, Patricia C. Wrede, Scott Cunningham and Mercedes Lackey.
