Hello and welcome to my profile/wall of freedom.
This is the place where I post my innermost feelings (not really. Depends on my mood during each month), my randomness and insanity (Im not that insane, am I?). Anyway, this is the place where I can be free, where I can write stuff without getting judged.
Actually, I get judged all the time. I have the PMs to prove it. Not that it bothered me. The haters never bothered me anyway~
I have a few warnings about what I write in my fan fictions: Some contains emotional triggers or sexual content. Even swearing and innuendos. They aren't all sunshine and rainbows. They also contain gore and sappy, sappy drama. Yeah, I love drama.
So other than that, please enjoy reading my fan fictions (which I worked hard on, cried over when Im stressed and had to think of every single day) and drop reviews, PMs and favorites.
You can also PM me, I won't bite!
Also, I tend to put my fan fics on hiatus when I had nothing else to write about them. Or I'm just so freaking lazy. I don't even know anymore.
So a lot of people had been asking me a lot of questions lately (about my fan fics and personal life), so I compiled a little FAQ on my page.
What's your real name?I can't tell you guys that, so I go by Caitlin.
How old are you?
Where are you from?
Philippines, where we all think that America is the hottest place on earth because you still use Fahrenheit.
Not much really, I like to read, to draw and to basically just write about my favorite topics. I wanted to play the violin, but its too expensive (*insert cry of despair here*). I also cosplay.
So what do you read?
Mostly fictional books, teen romance, fan fics. I read anything I could get my hands on, to be honest. But I swear, I will never read 50 Shades of Grey again. Ever.
You're a fantasy fan?
Oh yeah, I am. I always wanted a talking dog or a dragon for a pet.
When did you start writing?
Well, I do remember the first time I wrote down a story. I was in second grade when the librarian recommended me to one of the Journalism teachers in my school because she saw me always reading in the library during my free time. The teacher instructed me to write about the story I recently read (which was Rapunzel) and I did-writing down the story by memory. She trained me every single day and was recruited to the a staff in the school paper in the third grade. I won several writing competitions during my elementary days. When I was in fifth grade, that's when I started to write fan fiction (On Fanpop).
I joined the FF community on 2011, I think. I still have my first fan fiction here and I nearly died laughing while reading it. Guess I changed after four years. And that's a good thing.
What do you mostly write about?
To be honest, I always cover romantic stuff. Drama, cheesy lines and situations and even some creepy stuff for the mature audience. Now I just write funny things and smuts. Lots and lots of smuts. I think my ten year old self would be terrified,
You cosplay, right? For how long?
To be honest, I used to cosplay with my dad ever since I was little. He dressed me up and we went off to cons. When I got older, I sew my own costumes and go to cons with my friends. Now, Im on my tenth year. Yay.
You love Vocaloid?
Hell yeah. I love Vocaloid. My very first song was "Triple Baka" then "Romeo and Cinderella".
What was your first anime?
Sailor Moon. I still can't forget about it. It was pretty awesome.
Ah, well. I can't remember where I picked up anime porn. I think it was because I was in the Black Butler phase and wanted to see more Yaoi.
You're a fujoshi?
I'M PROUD TO BE ONE *rips apart shirt to reveal a new one underneath, saying Yaoi Fangirl'*
But wouldn't anime and fan fics distract you from your studies?
Not really, I'm currently an Honor Student and a scholar. So haha, stereotypes.
What was your first fandom?
Harry Potter. I was crazy about Harry and his magical world.
Soul Eater. Then RWBY.
Type of music?
I listen to every genre anyway. And I get hooked to songs from time to time. But I hate the new generation artists. One Direction and Taylor Swift and Arianna Grande. Even the songs and artists that depict disrespect to human beings and animals. Even women. I don't even know why they would create songs like that. Ew.
Right now, I'm hooked to Lindsey Stirling. She's a goddess.
Do you often write song fics?
I plan to, I just never got the time to do it all.
Any words of wisdom you'd like to give?
Oh dear, I have to do this? Oh, okay. To be a writer, you must be okay with freeing all those words and creative juices that formed inside your body. They were there for a reason. Even if you think you're a novice or a professional in writing, you'll have some set backs or even writer's block. Haters will hound you.But that doesn't mean you should stop writing. Continue to do it. No one has the right to stop you from doing what you love most.
Every writer has a rhythm they play, whether it's romance, drama, hurt, or crack fics. Just be happy in what you're doing right now. Besides, all of it is from your heart and soul. Each word, each laugh, each tear and line came from your creative mind. Let it all out.
And be careful in what you write too, because you'll never know whether someone will be upset or not.
And uh...please don't god mod your OCs, okay? Everyone hates half-demons, half-angels with a serious suicidal issue, depression, ADHD, OCD, and in a serious relationship with *insert Anime/book/tv show character here.* Please. Have mercy.
