Modus Operandi:Refers to the once commonly held assumption that individual criminals or types of criminals almost invariably behave in the same way. That is, A given repeat offender or class of offender always leaves a recognizable signature on each crime committed.(Latin for "method of operating")

"That's the thing about my father. He'd never give advice. And he had a million stories. The scorpion and the frog. The scorpion needed to get accross the creek; asked the frog for a ride. Frog says "I can't trust you you're a scorpion." The scorpion says "Sure you can." Hops on the frogs back. Midway across the scorpion stings the frog. The frog looks at him "Why would you do that? Now we're both gonna die." The scorpion says "I can't help it I'm a scorpion."-qoute from burked.

"The scorpion is as black as soot,
He dearly loves to bite; He is a most
unpleasant brute to find in bed at night."-Hilaire Belloc

(I'm a Scorpio by the way)

"I saw eternity the other night, like a great ring of pure and endless light, all calm as it was bright; and round beneath it, time in hours, days, years, driv'n by the spheres like a vast shadow mov'd; in which the world and all her train were hurl'd."-Henry Vaughan
