Author has written 1 story for Final Fantasy VIII.
I never stray too far from reading or thinking about fanfiction even though I haven't updated this since 2011. I've been busy, but I have decided to use my free time to go back to work on some plot bunnies--I've been out of the fray for far too long, are we still calling them, 'plot bunnies?'
I don't know what I am going to do with my older story. I'm too afraid to even look at it for fear I will finally realize how childish I was years ago. On the bright-side, however, my perspective should have matured.
If anyone is willing to review my work please contact me! It's not a hard job to do and maybe you could trick me into writing more regularly! Seriously, I NEED A BETA!
Finally, I am willing to collaborate with others and review their works. Just ask me! (Don't make me beg)
Thats my story, and I'm sticking to it.
Thank you to my previous beta, or as I liked to call her 'my beta-wife' because she kept me on track. Thank you, Qui-ti (Devy)! Without her I'd have been lost in a sea of fragmented sentences and grammar mistakes.
Huge thanks to Tsukino Kaze, an awesomely talented writer, for nagging me as much as I nag her--well, nobody can truly surpass my nagging abilities, but she tries. And this is where I plug one of her fantastic Squinoa stories: Lives In Choosing.
Current Projects and Update (06 JULY 2015):
(I have a bunch of plot bunnies, and projects swimming in my head, and I'd like to unleash them on the poor, unsuspecting FF.net population.)
Truth Be Told -
Previously I had stated that Chapter 4 was at the beta shop, and that I have already started Chapter 5 (Chapter 6 if you count the prologue as Chapter 1). I really enjoyed working on this story but I have decided that I would like to completely revise some sections of the story as I feel I have matured and would like this maturity to be reflected in the overall plot. Hopefully, I will not have to delete any sections and end up losing the wonderful reviews as those are so appreciated and keep me moving forward. Unfortunately, I am in no rush as I have decided to put more emphasis on my collaborative story with Tsukino Kaze.
Kissing the Gunner's Daughter - A high-seas Squinoa adventure, the first chapter is jointly written by Tsukino Kaze and myself. All other chapters will be written by myself--unless anyone really eager would like to jump in. Tsukuno Kaze and I are still friends, but I don't believe she has time for writing fanfiction, which is a shame because her talents are truly missed. (Status: In the works)
Seducing Keegsquaw - A Squinoa story I wrote as a present to Tsukino Kaze for all her hard work (and an apology for my posting hypocrisy) that is based on her story, Lives in Choosing. (Status: Beta-shop!)
Another Apology on the Delays:
Although I've been plagued with a disastrous combination of nihilism, procrastination and having a chaotic life, the main reason I haven't been writing is that I have really been questioning my personal writing style and whether or not I was happy with the way I was presenting my stories. I've also been giving the plots time to gestate... a lot of time to gestate.
Now that I am reaching the end of my lengthy "hiatus" I honestly think I will be able to produce quality fiction that I am proud of, that my readers will enjoy, and most importantly--have them posted in a timely manner!
