Author has written 8 stories for Percy Jackson and the Olympians.
I’m Katie. Well, actually, I’m not, but you can call me that since my real name is weird. :)
So… I’m seventeen years old and I’m here because I like writing, reading and fanfiction – surpriiise!
Besides I want to improve my English skills since I’m not a native speaker, so I’d like to ask you to point out any mistakes I make so I can learn from them. ;) But keep it friendly, I’m only human, too.
Hm, what else? … Oh, right.
Hm. Oh, right, hobbies. Next to writing, I also have friends (wow) who I love more than anything (they’re kinda weird, though. Wonder why since I'm so normal). I like parties and hanging out with the aforementioned friends, I hate school and I love mythology, especially Greek and Roman. I was a scout for sometime. I'm sarcastic, but usually just against myself. I’m a little off in the head and… I’m a fear biter. Yeah, seriously. And I can’t distinguish paprika from pepperoni, so don’t let me cook. Ever.
- Percy Jackson (kinda obvious I guess)
- The Hunger Games
… Just to mention a few ;) I read tons of books, so making a list isn’t too easy. Don't get me started on how many books I dislike or you'll be stuck with me for a looong time.
I used to read a lot of manga when I was younger, especially Detective Conan. Don’t ask me why. I don’t understand myself. But even though I hate that series by now, I still read fanfiction about it. Like I said, off in the head. *scratch* o.o
So, enjoy reading my stories or my comments to your own stories! :)
Laugh even though you're the only one laughing. Talk to people you don't know. Smile at those who pass you by. Throw some mints in a bottle of Coke. Paint a picture by throwing colours at a canvas. Take photographs of people while they're eating. Drink some tea. Stain your favourite shirt with oil and realize it's not worth being angry about. Take a nap in the middle of the day. Dance in the rain only to realize it sucks. Jump into puddles. Give presents to those who are important to you. Take the time to really listen, then they will listen to you. Talk to yourself when you're alone. Be your own best friend. Stay up late for no reason. Sleep until noon. Often. Climb a roof at midnight. Light a candle. Have a chat with someone you don't know on the bus. Read some books. Throw a party. Make mistakes. Break a lamp. Forgive those who mistreat you, 'cause it's never good to hold a grudge. Imagine you can fly. Go ice-skating even though you're clumsy. Watch a season of your favourite show. Take a cold shower. Try climbing if you're scared of heights. Stop doing things because you have to - start loving them. And love your friends, even though they will all hurt you one day, 'cause they're worth it. Take the time to be with your family. Don't care about money. Play a video game. Imagine being a cat. Have weird dreams. Change the world.
In one sentence: STAY YOUNG.
