2025 - January

Happy New Year! Much to my surprise, I actually liked the Ranma 1/2 remake and got through the first season without dropping it after a few episodes. I feared that my old rose-colored view of the world of Ranma would be shattered, but it was surprisingly enjoyable.

Like I mentioned in my previous bio update, I was tinkering with shit to celebrate the remake, shit too spicy for this site. So far, I've published seven Ranma-oneshots over at Ao3 on my HawkFF account there which were co-written with an AI story generator.

Yeah, this old geezer is fooling around with AI. It's been both fun and somewhat scary too see what our future digital overlords are already capable of. Sure, so far they seem to require a firm hand and pretty close supervision to not produce utter shit, but with some careful promts and a bit of my own writing to build on, the results are actually surprisingly decent. Sure wish this shit had been available back when I had to write assignments and essays in school.

Anyway, the non-AI-assisted-writing is also ongoing. It was actually when I was tinkering with AI images for Gamer Neighbor artwork that I first stumbled upon AI story generators. Also been fiddling a bit with my old Star Wars story again. While I don't really like most of what the last couple of years have done to the Star Wars universe, it is still a fictional world I really like. Also mucking about with the Kim Possible 'Smart'-series of stories, but I really should rewatch the show, getting back to writing on those really drove home how much I'd forgotten about the KP-verse.

But it's the Potterverse that sees the bulk of progress, divided though it may be. Heck, sooooo many stories in the works and due to me flitting back and forth between all of them like a goldfish on acid, all of them progress at a snail's pace. Neighbor, Black heir, Nymph, Fall, Venomous and probably around twenty others that I haven't shared yet.

The Naruto-verse... Well, my interest pretty much died in that fandom. I try to tinker a bit with the stories I personally like the best from time to time, but I can't really claim to see much progress there. The latter part of the manga and then Boruto... Shit, that killed my Naruto-writing boner harder then a pile of mutilated kittens.

I am past my fortieth year on this planet and am closer to fifty years then I am to forty. A Swedish fanfiction freak who spends a bit of time now and then reading and writing fanfiction. I do have a life outside of fanfiction however, so don't go expecting my stories to be updated with any sort of regularity. If I have to chose between spending time with my loved ones or sit cooped up in front of my computer writing fanfiction, I'll chose my loved ones nearly every single time.

If a story of mine ends with "THE END! ( For now... )" it means that it's not finished yet and that at least one more chapter will be making an appearance, sooner or later... ... Most probably later, much later, considering my erratic updating shedule. :) So don't even bother pleading for rapid updates as I have a life outside of fanfiction and have no desire to put the former aside for the later.

If it ends with "THE END!" without the "( For now... )" it means, surprisingly enough, The End. No more to add on this particular story, unless I write a sequel or something somewhere down the line.
