Odin lets Thor to take Loki down to Earth for one day, and Thor hopes to show his brother some of the good things about the human world, show him why he fought nearly to the death to defend it. Some overdue discussion happens over shawarma, But in the end, things go horribly wrong and bloodshed results.

Banished by Odin and hunted by the Chitauri, Loki is a political refugee and the Avengers are forced to offer asylum. Through science experiments, swing dancing, panic attacks, shopping sprees, and Asgardian politics, the enemy begins to look like an ally. Eventual Avenger!Loki. Plus, Blackhawk and plenty of Tony.

Thor returns to Asgard with his brother in chains. Loki doesn't seem to have much to say for himself, but Thor makes up for him. Post-Avengers, angst, no pairing, fail!parenting Odin.
