ATTENTION: As I'm sure most of you have noticed, I haven't been updating much of anything lately. That's not to say I've abandoned writing fanfiction (I actually have a good twenty or so little starts of stories from various places), but the odds of them winding up here are rather low. I won't make excuses for it since my reasons wouldn't make much sense to anyone who isn't me or my family. Just be aware that watching and waiting for me to come back and update might be a futile exercise for a while. I will be back, I just don't know when.
Reviews asking me when CDC is coming out are not particularly helpful, but I won't /nerdrage over them. I appreciate all two of my rabid fans, but constant messages bugging me to hurry up and start up CDC again make me want to hide in a small hole. I have a lot of real life things I'm working on (and I can't make promises it'll ease off anytime soon), but I'm doing the best I can to at least get SOMETHING out once in a while. I could always just stop updating altogether, but I'd really rather not. So... have patience, young padawan. Good things come to those who wait.
About Me: I am 19 years old, a good old-fashioned southern girl, and an absolute nerd when it comes to gaming and the like. I only got into the fan fiction rowboat a year or so ago, and it's only recently I've worked up the nerve to post anything online. It also took me an embarassing amount of time to actually figure out how to work this site, and I had a healthy dose of derp when I got it working.
Currently I'm a graphic designer, doing book covers and templates and such, who spends every possible minute of my free time writing or reading or some combination of the two.
TFD: For those of you who read my "Thedas for Dummies" story (I love you all; have a free hug!) I just want to thank you for all the positive feedback you've given me. It was great encouragement to continue writing it, and I hope you all got as much of a kick out of it as I did. :)
CDC: And for those of you reading "Consuming Direct Control" (I can't read that title without giggling a little and hearing it spoken in Harbinger's voice), a big fuzzy tentacle hug to you all. I appreciate your reviews, and more often than not I try to incorporate ideas mentioned in them in the story. Power to the players (readers cough cough) and all that, right? So if you write a review wondering about something, and then two chapters later that exact thing happens, that's me trying to cover all the bases. I don't write with a plan in mind. I just... write. And stuff comes out. Stuff that people apparently like. Who knew?
Mah Games: In no particular order... Skyrim, Fallout 3, Fallout: New Vegas (when it isn't crashing every five minutes), Mass Effect 1&2 (and 3 up until the last ten minutes), Dragon Age: Origins, Dragon Age 2, Divinity II, Prototype, Prototype2, Deus Ex: Human Revolution, Fable II&III, Assassin's Creed, Asssasin's Creed II, Assassin's Creed Brotherhood (are you seeing a pattern?), Assassin's Creed Revelations, Batman: Arkham City, Pikmin (good 'ol Gamecube), Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, World of Warcraft, Starcraft II, Aion, Rift, Pokemon (all of them; I am such a nerd), and so on and so forth.
Can you tell I'm a gamer yet?
"I got him! Wait, no... Negative... Aw, negative. I don't got him. Standby." Blackwatch Officer
"Believe me, if I started murdering people… there'd be none of you left." Charles Manson
“You call me a monster? Fine. I’ll accept that. But every monster has a line they will not cross. I know where my line is, Justicar. Do you?” Alex, "Consuming Direct Control"
"Go ahead. Run. By the time you turn around, I'll have already caught you."
