Author has written 5 stories for Bleach, Harry Potter, Bible, Fullmetal Alchemist, Misc. Books, and Yu-Gi-Oh.
Hi, there! I'm Scaehime, but calling me Scae works, too. I'm a math major in college, but I've been told I have a talent for figurative language. Go figure.
Efua: Scae, I know you like puns, but did you have to use such an obvious one?
Scae: Efua, I know you like startling people, but did you have to just jump in on my profile page without introducing yourself?
Efua: Touché. *to audience* I'm Scae's yami, for Yu-Gi-Oh! fans; her inner crazy (since I'm not a hollow), for Bleach fans; and an annoying OC, for anyone else.
Scae: We don't have extended, pointless author notes in our fics, so no need to worry about that.
Efua: We may start something like those in a pm or review, though.
Jesa: And sometimes I'll show up. My OC profile is below, by the way.
I've finally gotten a new laptop after the old one crashed, so I should get back to beta reading soon, as in within the week, or possibly within a day or two. Yay!
Such was the plan, but now I have a large-ish work load in my second-to-last semester of college before I get my Bachelor's degree.
My username on duelingnetwork dot com is MagicalMana. Pm me if you want to duel.
OC Profiles for Bridge the Gap, Kyoukan!
Jesa Jones, Human with higher-than-usual reiatsu.
Author insert: Jesa = Scae plus reiatsu minus fanfiction obsession minus about six years of age.
Has been able to see spirits for as long as she can remember.
Lives in the formerly abandoned house near the Kurosaki clinic.
Transferred to Karakura High, freshman year.
Brother, Jensen Jared Jones
Cats, Raya and Brea: left in America
Gets embarrassed when romantic topics are brought up, due to her innocence and naiveté.
Dislikes conflict between friends.
Will defend complete strangers if she sees them being made fun of or taken advantage of.
Enjoys puns and other jokes, if clean.
Loves cats, and greatly misses the two she had to leave behind in America.
Not likely to hide her emotions intentionally.
Cares about her brother, but enjoys giving him a hard time.
Likes getting compliments, but only if she feels what is said is meaningful and accurate; doesn't appreciate insincere compliments; doesn't like people giving her bland compliments to make her feel better: it tends to have the opposite effect.
Sometimes has trouble detecting sarcasm.
Doesn't like being alone.
Talkative/tends to ramble.
Has a bad habit of interrupting people.
Tends to say whatever comes to mind without thinking it through first.
Strong sense of morality.
Not likely to change her mind unless given sound, logical reasons to do so.
Far too easily riled up, but is learning to keep from lashing out.
Can be forgetful.
Does not like bugs. Butterflies, moths, ladybugs (ironically), and such are not on her list of bugs. Slugs, however, are on the list, whether they technically count or not. Ants are tolerable in very small numbers, like one or two.
Hard worker once she gets started, but tends to procrastinate.
Usually in one of two mental states: Cheerful and optimistic, or ridiculously silly.
Can be serious when necessary.
Prone to tears when upset.
Hates upsetting others, but thoroughly enjoys giving people a hard time.
Can't always tell when enough is enough, and so tends to take things too far, and then beat herself up over upsetting someone.
Can feel others' emotions as her own.
Can use others' powers as her own, within limitations.
If she uses the other person's call phrase exactly, their power spirit will be pulled to Jesa's inner world, and Jesa's cross charm will morph into an exact duplicate of the other's weapon. If the other person makes physical contact with the weapon-double, the power spirit will return to its wielder's inner world, and Jesa's charm will demorph.
If she uses "Bridge the Gap," followed by the name of the other's power (spirit), her charm will morph into a version of the weapon more suited for Jesa, e.g. a different size, along with some color differences. The specific color depends on whose power it is, e.g. orange for Ichigo.
With either method of borrowing another's powers, Jesa will not be able to use it properly without practice, e.g. running into trees left and right when first trying shunpo.
Power Spirit: Joy-nee-chan
Similar to Jesa's, but more mature, and better able to deal with heavier emotions.
Can control Jesa's body for her, e.g. when Jesa is emotionally overwhelmed and needs time to calm down.
