Author has written 23 stories for Avatar: Last Airbender, Percy Jackson and the Olympians, Pokémon, Legend of Zelda, Avengers, Rise of the Guardians, and Doctor Who.
WARNING: I will be posting less often than I am because school has started. This is the hardest year at the school I attend, so I apologize in advance for any long waits. I will write as much as I can, but homework comes first.
Secondary Warning: The following profile contains some language, and I do apologize if you find it offensive, but I will not change my profile unless Fanfiction.net says I have to. Thank you.
Name: You can call me by a lot of names, but I'd prefer it if you used some form of "Zorua Illusion" (ex.- Zorua, Illusion, Ms.Zorua, etc. No abbreviations except for initials, as I use them all the time). You can also call me Anaconda, if you wish.
Gender: Female. But I'm very tomboy-ish.
Likes: A lot of things. Tumblr and Fanfiction especially. Happy endings.
Dislikes: Jerks, drama queens/kings. Violent/protesting homophobes. Rapists. Sad endings.
Let's get this straight: I'm atheist. I don't care about what your religion is, I will treat you as a human being. Worship your dog for all I care. But do not, I repeat, DO NOT shove your religion down other's throats. Don't try to insert religion into laws, because there's this thing called "separation of Church and state". Don't force someone to adhere to your beliefs. Preach your religion to the public, go ahead. I commend your bravery for speaking in front of people. Just don't force it upon them. We clear?
Fandoms: Pokemon, Legend of Zelda, Hunger Games, Percy Jackson and the Olympians/Heroes of Olympus, Avatar: The Last Airbender, The Inheritance Cycle, Avengers, Rise of the Guardians, How to Train Your Dragon, Brave, Tangled (Big Four Crossovers are pretty cool), Supernatural (to an extent), Disney (because that should totally be counted as a fandom), Kingdom Hearts, Diablo (2 and 3)
Motto: Consent= presence of a "yes", not absence of a "no".
Less serious motto: If you're going to do something, make sure your apple pie is freaking worth it.
On the Boston Marathon Bombings: Oh gods. Where to begin? First off, let's remember the people who died or were injured, and let us remember the people who ran to help, whether they be civilians or policemen or firemen or bomb squad etc. Let us not immortalize the people who did this. Let's not crack jokes, let's not make racist assumptions, let's not look at that. Let's remember those who deserve to be remembered and help out those who need it. Hope for Boston, people.
On the Iraq Bombings: I'll admit: I don't know much. all I know is that there are 55 dead. Let us remember them, and hope that the families and friends of these people may heal.
In Loving Memory Of Lyralocke, passed away May 2010. Thank you for sharing your stories with us.
In case I don't say it in any chapter of any of my stories, I own nothing except my OCs, and everything you recognize belongs to their respective owner(s).
Falling in Love In Avatar Land:
It took forever, but finally, 33 chapters later, FiLiAL is complete! Thanks to all those who reviewed, and shout out to the following: TechnoGirl317, without whom this story would probably still be in progress, and Irish Lover Girl for listening to my rants. Also to my friend who isn't on here for listening to my rants and giving me feeback.
Summary: Zarla and her best friend Adam get transported to the Avatar world under mysterious circumstances. They both secretly love each other... will they figure out their feelings in the middle of a war-torn world? Has some swearing, and includes Spanish.
Another Kataang Anastasia:
Status: Complete! (Finally)
Sorry it took so long, and if the last chapter's shoddy. It's dedicated to SokkasFirstFangirl, the author of Kataang Anastasia. Check out her story as well! And I do apologize for the extremely spoardic updates...
Summary: Another Kataang Anastasia story, based off of SokkasFisrtFangirl's Kataang Anastasia. Benders are included in this story.
Zoroark's Side of Things:
Not my best piece of work. I feel like I was ten when I wrote it, which might not be so far from the truth. I can't believe how many people actually liked it. Sequel and remake in the process, the latter will be up after I finish my Avatar stories.
Summary: Based off of Cartoon Network's Zoroark: Master of Illusions, this story is of Zoroark's thoughts throughout the movie. Sequel and remake in progress.
Honestly, it has far too many typos. "Tie" instead of "Time" for instance. So, yeah, sorry about that. Otherwise, thanks to Volvagia on YouTube for the Skyward Sword Walkthrough from which I got the dialogue.
Summary: What I thought Link's thoughts might be while Zelda's explaining things. Has a curse in it.
My first songfic, song being Avril Lavigne's "Tomorrow". One of my favorites. Has some typos.
Summary: What Annabeth might've felt like while Percy was missing in Son of Neptune.
Phil Coulson's Funeral and Related Side Stories
This is my tribute to Agent Phil Coulson. OC and OOC alert. One of my personal favorites.
Summary: Self-explanatory title. This is my version of Agent Phil Coulson's "funeral" and side stories that go along with it. A not very cameo appearance by Zarla and Adam from FiLiAL. It's not necessary to know them for the story.
Going to the Capital with Captain America
I took a trip to Washington D.C. in May and the idea came to me sometime later.
Summary: Amela from Phil Coulson's Funeral and Related Side Stories and Steve Rogers go to Washington D.C. a vacation with Amela might become a series. Rated "T" because I'm paranoid. Oneshot.
Sandy needed a lot more love, I had a pair of footie pajamas and a desire to write.
Summary: Sandy meets a young girl. This wouldn't be so weird except for the fact that she had built a hidey hole on her rooftop. Homosexuality between two OCs. Oneshot.
Jack and His Camera
My most popular story next to FiLiAL. Inspired by my sister, Irish Lover Girl, and Children of a Lesser God, though I forget who that story is by. Look it up, it's pretty fantastic. It also has a prequel/companion, Cookies and Temples. Check it out when you get the chance.
Summary: Head cannon: Jack Frost's hoodie pocket was made to be bigger on the inside by North as a first Christmas present. Jack collects a truckload of items, including a camera. Man in Moon help the Guardians.
Jack and Poppy
Jack's sister needs love, not angst. And so does Sandy. So, this story was born!
Summary: Jack hardly even glanced at poppy fields. The one time he did nearly sent him into tears. Sandy wants to know why. A sort-of tie-in with Jack and His Camera.
Poppy Overland, Spirit of Laughter
Inspired by paying way too much attention to animation, Jack's sister is his first believer. Too bad he wasn't there to find out before she died. Good thing the Moon was watching and that I can't stand sad endings.
Summary: Jack's first believer was his little sister three years after he drowned. Too bad she died three days after she started believing. Good thing the Moon revived her, and that the Sandman is amazing at presents.
How to Prank the Guardians
The blackmail photos and pranks mentioned in JaHC and PO,SoL are here. I seriously spent far too much time thinking of these...
Summary: Or the five times Jack and Poppy pranked the Guardians (plus one) and the one time that the Guardians pranked them back. Remember those blackmail pictures I mentioned in JaHC, and the pranks in PO, SOL? Well, here they are. Rated for a cuss word in a quote. Oneshot.
Smoke and Mirrors and the Language of the Wind
I wanted to do something with a legend about mirrors I heard. Thus, this story was born!
Summary: Jack never looked at reflective surfaces for 302 years after he saw his reflection morph into something terrible. What happens when his sister, Poppy, the Spirit of Laughter, realizes why he's looking in horror at North's hall of mirrors? Oneshot.
I got obsessed with phobias for a day. Sue me (but don't. I don't want to deal with the paperwork). Also, I want to show you that everyone's afraid of something. It is completely natural.
Summary: Even the mightiest heroes are afraid of something. What are the Guardians afraid of?
Day of Silence
I participated in Day of Silence, a day to mirror the silence forced upon victims of LGTBQ bullying.
April 19th. On this day, people remove their voices from society to mirror the silence of victims of anti-queer bullying to show their support of LGBTQ individuals. This is my contribution.
Before the Fall
Status: In Progress
A oneshot series of Zarla's and Adam's lives before Falling in Love in Avatar Land. Set in the Doctor Who archives because that's pretty much the only fandom they're involved in at that point in time.
A oneshot series of Zarla and Adam from Falling in Love in Avatar Land.
You know, I've always hated it when people said that winter could just be done away with and nothing bad would come. Ever think it's there for a reason greater than the tilt of the Earth?
Summary: Winter is necessary. So is fun. So by extension, Jack Frost is a necessity. (AKA where the heck is the "explanation" genre?)
Poppy vs. Pitch
I mentioned Poppy kicking Pitch's ass in Phobia, and Jack already knew about her fear in Phobia, so this is a sort of prequel to it.
Summary: Remember how in Phobia Poppy fought Pitch and handed his butt to him? Well, here's the story behind that.
I got a request. I did it.
Summary: Request from Screaming Fire (guest). There were once four people- Sicily Jones and her brother, Henry, and their cousins, James and Thomas Lewis. They all died and became the spirits of the elements that killed them. This is their story.
I realized I mentioned Poppy's picture, and I wanted to know her reaction. This is what it is.
Summary: I mentioned in Jack and His Camera about his first picture being of his little sister... what happens when she finds it in his hoodie pocket one day? Oneshot.
This was actually rolling in my head about a month or so after "Penguin Pajamas". I just posted it recently because I was digging around my files.
Summary: In WWI and WWII, Russia wasn't taken over due to a few factors. One being the sheer size of the army and the cold that destroyed the armies not used to it. So how does Jack tie into this? Rated for mentions of war. Oneshot.
Status: In progress
This story is the sequel to Falling in Love in Avatar Land and focuses on Zarla's adventures as "Protector of the Multiverse". Filled with OCs, AU and wibbly wobbly timey whimey and headcannon events, this story takes place amongst a multitude of fandoms, including but not limited to: Inheritance Cycle, Rise of the Guardians, Homestuck (maybe), Supernatural, Zelda, How To Train Your Dragon, Kingdom Hearts, and Doctor Who. Rated "M" for swearing, possibly graphic events, and ass kicking. I've had this idea since... chapter ten or FiLiAL? A long time, and many of the ideas are still being added or edited. HUGE shoutout to the following: TechnoGirl317, who edits this for me and encourages posting, my sister, Irish Lover Girl for ideas and future help with ideas, and my two friends for helping me with quite a few aspects of the story (names, ideas, outfits, etc., etc.)
Summary: The sequel to Falling in Love in Avatar Land, this is what happens when Zarla gets on the wrong side of some spirits and realizes that everything we think is fictional... isn't quite as fictional as we'd like to believe. Rated "M" for language and graphic scenes, but nothing sexual.
Well, kind of, but not really. These are just ideas for future stories/chapters, which will probably be written this summer.
Rise of the Guardians Head Cannons:
How to Prank the Guardians has some of my headcannons in it, so here they are in more detail:
In the book series, there are quite a few references to magic, especially in the village of Santoff Claussen (which is not North's workshop, or it was his first one before the one we see in RotG). Each and every Guardian has their own particular brand of magic, each one using a certain spell.
Jack: Children play! Said exactly like that. This is the spell he either knowingly or unknowingly binds in his special snowflakes/snowballs.
Tooth: Remember, remember, the childhood tales, remember, remember, the earliest details... More like a mantra or poem than a spell, this is the spell Tooth uses when there's a child having a particularly hard time remembering.
Sandy: Sandy's spell is... weird, if it could be considered a spell at all. It's the magic of his sand, which was once a star, so therefore, Sandy's spell is in a combination of the language of Sand and Stars. Jack can understand most of it, since he is a Nature Spirit, but it's extremely difficult to say.
Bunny: Bunny's spell is particular, mainly because it doesn't have a language. It's the feeling of hope, and he embeds it into his eggs every Easter.
North: North uses a variety of spells, each one to achieve a different brand of wonder for every child, because while one may be fascinated by stars, another is fascinated by cars.
Poppy: She's not a Guardian, so she doesn't have magic, but she does have some magic thread that, when in contact, makes it easier for you to laugh.
Having helpers is mainly a Guardian thing, but there are a few spirits who aren't Guardians who have them. Jack gains his helpers after becoming a Guardian. If you read How To Prank the Guardians, Neve the Polar Bear and Jack's Penguin Army are his new helpers, but only Jack has the power to spread Children Play! snowflakes.
This is going through editing: you can read about the basics in Zarla's Story.
Pay attention folks, these might be brought into stories later on!
Flux to Fixed Points
Not every fixed point is instantly a fixed point. It slowly morphs, or quickly, depending on the situation. EX.- Jack's 300 years alone were not instantly fixed. They were a slow process by the lack of MiM's communication. Some points, however, are instantly fixed because of the results of flux points ahead of them, such as Hitler's rise to power in Germany. He wanted to go to art school, but was denied. Because of that flux point (he could've been accepted), Hitler would eventually become the leader of Nazi Germany. Make sense?
SO. MANY. IDEAS.
The first one is that Jack is the first spirit to have to contain the power of two as a by product of being both Manny's and Nature's spirit. It took a lot of energy to make sure he didn't explode, so Manny wasn't able to communicate with anyone for awhile. Based of North's comment in the beginning, "It's been a long time old friend!" How would an immortal spirit know the difference between years unless it was centuries?
The second is that Manny believed that Jack's solitude was a long series of fixed points back to back, he was told this by Father Time, who can sense the possiblity of fixed points, but not if they are or not. (But he doesn't know that.)
The third idea is that Manny uses moonbeams to talk... and it takes about eight minutes for the sun's rays to reach Earth. How long until they get to the moon, then reflect onto Earth? Jack left after a few seconds after talking to Manny on Jamie's roof. Had he ever stayed longer?
The fourth and the idea that is not a popular belief of mine and will probably never be used as a legit answer is that Manny actually did ignore Jack. As I said, not going to use this one.
