Author has written 20 stories for Lord of the Rings, Digimon, Vampire Princess Miyu, Chobits, Pokémon, Avatar: Last Airbender, and Animorphs.
"When there's nothing left to burn, you have to set yourself on fire."
If you’ve come here because of my work from the Digimon or Vampire Miyu, please read and enjoy but do not expect updates. But I promise you, I’ve finished everything in my head, and it’s great. You’d love it.
At this point, I stick around in the Pokemon fandom because I'm in love with a group of characters I've had a blast writing. I use a formula of two cups color and metal-gen game canon to one cup Pokemon Special, plus a very hefty spoonful of me having fun, so you'll notice I'm playing fast and loose with the timeline in some places. I deny the existence of the anime except as relates to Mewtwo, and even then, only in small doses.
Everything I write is under a constant state of revision because I strive to put online only the highest quality work that I produce. If you have any comments on how I can achieve a better product, please do let me know, as sometimes I think that I write only because I’d rather like to have something to edit.
You can also find me as RennIreigh on AO3.
"Patchouli," as a series, is not far from being completed. I'm currently working on the latest installment, "Equilibrium."
Heaven help me, Morty is taking over my brain. My next project after "Patchouli" will probably be a Morty-centric piece, set in the same fic-verse as "Patchouli," with the series title "Mental," in which Morty loses his family, his psychic powers, his sense of self, and his mind... and struggles, hand over fist, to get it all back.
I have a series potentially upcoming for Zuko and Katara as well, tentatively titled "Solstice."
All of this means that "Hotblooded" (the Lance/Dragon Clan four-parter) is now delayed again.
I'm never going to get anything finished at this rate.
25 January 2014: Equilibrium final chapter now posted. Hey look I finished a thing.
18 January 2014: Happy New Year. I am pleased as punch to have finished Equilibrium- currently posted is the next to last installment in that story. And I could post the last one, which is done, but I think it ends on enough of a cliffhanger that I'm just going to let it sit there for a few days. Why? Because it took me well over six months to finish this chapter, and if I have to wait for it to get done, so do you.
12 June 2013: Have I ever talked about how much I was influenced by Animorphs as a kid? No? Well, let me tell you about that. Up In Our Bedroom After The War posted as a love letter to one of my early fandoms; I just finished rereading the series for the first time in over 10 years, and I can really appreciate how much Rachel and Tobias specifically influenced some of my growth as a writer.
