Author has written 12 stories for Harry Potter, Doctor Who, and Torchwood.
Profile reboot beginning now, because I wrote the last version after being awake for 28 hours.
Basics: I'm Julia Caesaris (no, not really, but you're not getting any more than that). A/s/l: Old enough to watch Torchwood, young enough to have not grown up with Classic Who. Female, in body and mind. University of Washington-Seattle. If you're good enough to track me down from that, I'm bloody impressed.
Me in other places: The newest thing is I have a Tumblr:And I'm doing things with it... I think. I don't really know. Also, I'm Julia Caesaris on Wordpress and DeviantArt as well. So feel free to look me up there!
Updating: I update when I can. I'm also a freshman in the UW Honors program so time is a bit tight. RIGHT NOW I AM NOT WRITING ANYTHING, I AM TAKING A TWO WEEK BREAK TO PASS MY FINALS.
On disclaimers: I have relatives who are lawyers. Disclaimers a) aren't necessary and b) actually open yourself up to bigger lawsuits. Announcing that you don't own anything isn't helpful either.
Fandoms: Harry Potter (I swear it's a gateway fandom), Doctor Who, Sherlock (BBC), Supernatural, Avengers, Merlin. So far, at least. :D
Writings: Oh gods. Here goes.
Guns, Wands, and Bananas: First complete fic! I'm so proud of myself. I'm less proud of this work, though: I feel like the Doctor flips between Nine and Ten very awkwardly and Rose isn't in-character at all.
Weaken the Lock: DONE AND I'M HYPERVENTILATING RIGHT NOW.
1. The Missing Piece: The Doctor’s escape.
On the Side of Angels: Two chapters written and posted. I will come back after WtL is complete and rewrite Torchwood Season 2 and Doctor Who series 4 to accommodate the baby.
Physics and the Doctor: One chapter written and posted. More coming whenever I get ahead on everything else.
Serpent's Tears: Er... this badly needs a complete overhaul. Mostly to acquire a plot, which this is badly missing right now. I have no clue when this will be in work again. Probably around May.
Arcadia: Which looks complete, but actually isn't. I plan to take that first chapter, and rewrite the events from the Doctor's POV. Expect angst. Lots and lots of angst.
A Single Rose Can Be My Garden - A Single Friend, My World: One-shot for I Worship Steven Moffat, 100th reviewer of WtL.
On the Side of Angels: Chapters 1 and 2 are "one-shots" for Twicked, 200th and 300th reviewer of WtL.
400th reviewer will get a one shot! - As will 500th! Both are being combined into a 10k Wholock thing. 400th reviewer was Windarian, and 500th reviewer was Jimbobob5536. 600th reviewer was Ashlee Pond, and 700th reviewer was blue dragon of the 13. Since I'm way behind, I'll PM you two later.
Eyes of Green and Red: Depressed and suicidal, Harry left the Dursleys for good one night in 1996. That was also the night that the Dark Lord sent a raid to capture him. When Harry is brought before him, Voldemort discovers something interesting: Harry is the Horcrux he never meant to make.
Dark!Sherlock - untitled: In one universe, Sherlock overdosed, leading - through a long chain of events - to his meeting with a Dr. John Watson. In another, he did not, leading - through a different chain of events - to his meeting with a Mr. James Moriarty. Overconfident, Mycroft is not paying as much attention to his brother as he should - and London trembles.
Staying Is Not an Option: Once upon a time, two little boys watched clouds while laying in the red-orange grass. Thousands of years later, they fought a war across the stars, chasing each other throughout the universe, leaving destruction in their wake. This is the story of the progression from one to the other, of how two little boys became the most infamous and most feared beings: The Doctor and the Master.
The Prodigal Son: Regulus Black shows up to Number 12, Grimmauld Place, in the beginning of August, 1995. He brings with him information that could change the entire course of the war... but is burdened by inner demons that prevent him from finishing it.
For the Roads We've Yet To Walk: A character study on River Song, following her POV through The Impossible Astronaut.
Untitled: One-shot from Umbridge's POV. Character study, unwritten.
Demon's Run Redux: A friend told me that River's speech at the end of A Good Man Goes to War could have tipped the Doctor over into suicide. I said not that Doctor - but maybe another one? This is the results of that thought. Also unwritten.
T'was Blind But Now I See: Post-Reichenbach, almost certainly AU. An attempted blackmail goes awry, and Sherlock is forced to return to 221B without a crucial debriefing. Unwritten.
What Time Forgot: When she was seven, Amelia Pond found her imaginary friend. True, he was a little more injured than she had planned on, but he was all hers. Twelve years and four psychiatrists later, he came back - but her mad man with a blue box has no clue who she is. And the longer she gets to know him, the more she comes to realize: He is living a lie, and the mysteries only hide more mysteries. Both the Universe and the Doctor are running out of time, and it’s going to be up to one Amy Pond to rescue them before events come to a sudden end. Still unwritten. Also not my fault - this one goes to Steven Moffat and the Doctor Who Tumblr for throwing this bunny at me.
PROFILE NOT COMPLETE. WILL RETURN TO WORK LATER. WHEN HOMEWORK IS DONE, ie. NEVER. SORRY 'BOUT THAT.
