Author has written 2 stories for Buffy: The Vampire Slayer, Pitch Black / Riddick, and Firefly.
I don't really have a lot to say, just thought I should put something up here. I'm usually pretty private and bad at conversation, but if you ask a question, I'll generally answer it. So if you want to know something, just ask me. I'm going to list some of the fanfiction I like because I didn't want my profile to be empty. It just looked so sad and pathetic. And I've seen it on other people's profiles so... here goes. Some personal information about my likes (and some dislikes) free of charge.
My favorites are:
Spike from Buffy the Vampire Slayer (or from Angel, I suppose. If you want to get technical), hands down. But I don't like him with Buffy. Just don't. Really not a Buffy fan. I generally like him with Dawn or Xander or OC's... Oh, and Chloe from Smallville. I realize how random that sounds. I just happened to stumble across the pairing one day and I was like, 'dude! I'd never have thought of it myself but it's genius!' So I was totally converted.
I love Firefly and Riddick. Recently I found the cross-overs of them and there just aren't words. I didn't think Riddick or Firefly could get any better, but together... just awesome!
Wolverine. By far my favorite X-Man. Rogue would be my second-favorite. I like them together, or Rogue with Gambit. You can't hate Gambit. He's just so... Gambit.
I like a lot (a LOT) of Harry Potter characters and pairings, so I'm really not going to go into it. That could take a while. And a lot of explaining.
And Dean from Supernatural. How can you not like Dean? And Dean with pie. Singing "Eye of the Tiger". In the Impala. Yes. And Bobby's awesome. Not that I've read anything Bobby-centric, but you gotta love him. I mean, he calls an idjit an 'idjit'. And probably calls spades 'spades' just to keep it consistent.
Sometimes I read the anime fanfiction, generally have to be in the mood for it though. No real favorites there, just some that are familiar. Some like, but not love.
And I love OC's. Most of the time. There's always an exception to the rule, though. I'm not going to pretend there isn't. Honestly, most of my stories will probably have OC's in them in some way, shape, or form. Just a little forewarning for those of you that aren't as fond of them.
I'll admit that my favorites are the ones that are amusing as hell and give the other characters a run for their money. Probably a personal quirk now that I think about it.
And I even like when OC's get trapped, sucked, or otherwise transported into a verse. It's fun to see how a (relatively) normal person would act in some of those situations. Perfect example: You'll be watching this show you love and your favorite character gets thrown for a loop by the character that you, and also your favorite character, completely despise. And your favorite character can't do anything about it because of the show's (or movie's) other characters. So you sit there on the couch (or bed, floor, or other surface/piece of furniture that can be re-purposed in such a way) thinking to yourself, or yelling at the screen depending on your temperament, that you would have beat the absolute tar out of that despised character, to hell with the consequences! Or, another example, when the protagonists ask where the bad guy is when everyone with half a brain cell knows that if you have to ask that question, the bad guy is right behind you. Always. It's what bad guys do. Pretty sure it's part of their evil code.
That's about it. I might add to that list if I find something new or remember something I've forgotten, but it's more than I thought I'd end up putting on here, but I was on a roll on the OC thing.
