I work part time in a kitchen and run my own home business, and if you like what I write you can check out my store. (us . shopnstop . com / VDRAGON) The home business gives me more time to write, and I'd rather be writing.
I have a livejournal for people who care to know more about me or to talk to me about anything. I use it for experimenting so if you want more, hit that up, because there are many more stories (most abandoned experimental things, but that can be fun if you're looking for inspiration or a good argument about fictional plausibility) there than here. I sometimes post broad spectrum review responses there. I also talk about random things. It is a good place to go to ask me questions. I just started a forum to replace my old Yahoo!Group, since that's easier to use than making all of you sign up for yahoo and all that noise.
I don't delete old stuff. I think it's rather silly to do so, but do take a look at the dates attached to the story. There is a decade of stuff here, and my writing style has changed!
A Rival Story: This mess has spilled out of my pen, and I’ve decided to see how far it will go. It's the first thing I've written since my writer's block clamped down on my creativity. I went back and edited it. Most of the changes are in the early chapters. I haven't felt motivated to write more. There isn’t a lot of HnG fan-fiction, and almost none of the alternate ending type stories, which surprises me. Fan-fiction happens when readers/watchers with creative ability are upset or do not agree with decisions made by the original author enough to be moved to write it a new way. Most of what I’m finding is post-series, not unexpected because it is open-ended, but where are the stories that start on May 5th? The ones that start at the end of the Sai-Meijin game? Where are the people who were so outraged at the torture Hikaru went through? I saw your comments all over the sites that host English-subtitled episodes and message boards, so I know you are out there! LiveJournal Group for Hikago fanfiction come have a peek and share your links to good fanfic. I’m hoping to write one myself soon, but A Rival Story took off before my ideas for an alternate ending did.
