Author has written 3 stories for Legend of Zelda, and Naruto.
Every one in the world has at least two faces, or so I say. You have the face that you show to the world, and the one that you wear in front of your mirror. The one for the world has many different characteristics: A smile to calm your concerned parents, a frown for your mischievous little sibling, and a blush for that special person you always admire and dozens expressions to throw of the world from the truth. Especially if the truth is too ugly for the majority of people to comprehend, you must keep it for yourself, or so society says. We all know not to believe those that tell us it’s ok to show who we really are, that we mustn’t be afraid. The human race as a whole can be worst that vultures, they will pray on every piece of weakness you show. Needless to say, this face—or mask if you will—is a fake one.
The other face you wear, the one for the mirror is what we cannot show the world. It hides dozens of different emotions, thoughts, feelings that even your best friend may not be able to handle. This face we consider to be our burden, it houses our insecurities, or hatred, regrets and stomach problems. This is the face that we wear when we have given up, when we feel that it is no longer worth it. It is a sign that we are powerless in every aspect of life, even our very thoughts. It is here that we seek an escape, we seek it in those closest to us, and when they cannot help, we seek it from the unknown. The greatest unknown that we try to find refugee is death. Those brave enough, and stupid enough, brave to make the final jump and escape what they themselves have deemed hell. Of course, they have no reason to believe that death is any better than were we are now, but hey, to each there own.
But to sum up my conclusion in short, these two faces have only one thing in common: They’re both fake. We humans simply cannot handle the truth, that is what I believe, and I firmly stand by that. Because we cannot handle the truth, we have been given to faces, one to deceive the world, and one to deceive ourselves. And which face do I write you ask? The one I show the world of course…
