Author has written 1 story for Hunchback of Notre Dame.
Unlike a majority of the authors on this website, I am not exactly an aspiring writer. My main focus is vocal performance and Opera.
I have a thing for finding beauty behind ugliness. I think that's why my three favorite stories are Notre Dame de Paris, Phantom of the Opera, and Beauty and the Beast. Though quite obviously my favorite is NDdP.
I've seen all versions and read the book. Quasimodo is my favorite character. His innocence and pure heart is both touching and inspiring. I feel that he is unfortunately very overlooked and I hope to change that a bit by spreading the Quasi love on fanfiction. And YouTube as well. I have an account called LesCloches25. It's nothing impressive. I only have WMM to use, but it doesn't really matter to me.
As of right now I am only writing stories for NDdP. Well technically, I only have one story posted right now, but I have another one in the works. And fair warning: Most of my stories will probably be bittersweet. I am someone who loves tragic endings. They make me think and draw me into the story more than a happy ending ever could. You have been warned.
Here's what I've got brewing in my twisted little mind at the moment:
La Belle et Le Bossu - Features Quasimodo and Belle. Yes this is a crossover. The theme is looking past what you see before you and finding the beauty underneath. Quite fluffy in some parts, but there is plenty of action as well. I just find them to be the perfect crossover pairing. They are surprisingly very similar. See if you can spot the parallels yourself by giving this a read =] This story has a mixture of both book verse and Disney verse with it leaning more towards Disney.
Untitled - This story will feature Esmeralda and Quasimodo. Seriously! There aren't enough stories out there with them as a pairing. The theme will be redemption in all forms. The whole plot centers around one 'what if' factor and explores what could have been. It will be almost completely book based with just a few sprinkles of both the Notre Dame de Paris musical and Disney. It will be quite long and probably take a lot of my time to write. The outline has been completed - now it's just a matter of deciding when I want to begin the actual process of writing it. I am very excited for this one.
As far as long stories, that's all I have planned on my plate for now. I am considering starting up a series of one shots featuring... you guessed it, Monsieur le Bellringer and all those a part of his world - but that won't be for a while. I'm not the most consistent person and with both College and my social life (yes, I actually have one GASP) to take into account, I do not want to get in over my head.
For everyone that has read and reviewed there are no words that can measure my appreciation for you. Seriously, you light up my day with your kind comments and I will continue to read and enjoy them just as I continue to enjoy writing for you all and reading + reviewing your own works.
Best of wishes,
