I'm a TOTAL fangirl! Always have been & always will be.

I am all about anything Xena and anything Rizzoli & Isles. Well, let me clarify... I ship Jane/Maura and Xena/Gabrielle . JUST as it should be. No Xena/Ares. No Jane/Dean (excuse me... I think I just threw up in my mouth a little bit.)

I think of R&I as a modern day Xena anyway.

For those die-hard Xena fans who were reading fan-fic back when the show was still on, and a couple years beyond, you may remember my stories from around the web. So before you message me on here that I am plagiarizing myself, It is I, Carrie Ryan. It has been way too many years since I have posted / published any fiction and I have really missed it.

In addition to completing "On Raven's Wing", I will also be posting both "seasons" of "Unbroken" (which was co-authored with my writing partner KD).

They say you should write what you know. With "On Raven's Wing", the story deals a lot with music and construction sites; two things I know very well. I've been a semi-professional musician for over half my life. I've done the recordings. And mini-tours. Opened for national acts. Recorded jingles for commercials and have been performing on stage my entire life. I play guitar, bass, drums, piano/keyboards, ukulele... Definitely much more enjoyable than the time I have spent on construction sites and in ship yards.

It was suggested to me recently that it may benefit some readers for me to put something here, in my profile, about the story. The following is the original summary from many years ago.

On Raven's Wing is about two women who's paths happen to cross by chance AND with the help of one very determined little girl. Their lives will come full circle along with many others they encounter.

"A story of two very charismatic women who will soon become entrenched in your hearts. Amanda Peters, the beautiful, tender school teacher and mother of her precious baby daughter, does not know what's in her future when Raven Stevens joins her class. For Raven is the much loved "daughter" of Jake, a tall gorgeous, construction worker. When their paths meet will Amanda come to realize what her ex husband and his mother already know? This is a wonderful story where all the characters come alive with their warmth, fun and friendships." (original story summary credit goes to Lyn.)

There are moments where you will laugh (watch those beverages around the keyboards), you'll cry (get those hankies ready) either way, hopefully, you will feel.

Yes, they look like people we all know and love but, their lives are their own. They belong to themselves. They just refuse to leave my head until I've told their story. I know most of it but, they tell me a little more each day... whenever they decide to pop up and say "hello". Wherever they're taking me, it's a hell of a ride and I hope you'll stick around for it so stop reading about me and go read what I have written!
