Author has written 6 stories for xxxHOLiC, One Piece, Fate/stay night, Naruto, and Puella Magi Madoka Magica/魔法少女まどか★マギカ.
The kind of person whose motto is "Calmy consider the unconsiderable."
Hello, everyone, I'm Endfall. I'm a human by circumstance, a writer by trade, and a student of the world by design.
My life goals are to become proficient at everything, do as much good as I possibly can, and make an end-run at immortality.
While I wish the story of my life were an interesting thing that I could regale you with grand tales of adventure, in truth, it really... isn't. My primary value, for the moment, is held in a single, simple, solitary fact.
I know how my stories end.
Don't worry though! I'm on your side: Any story I begin writing, if it is of the sort that requires an end, shall have one - and not just a shitty little "I got tired of writing, so here's a summary." - no, a real, proper ending, complete story between it and the beginning and all. There's one exception case, unfortunately: My death. In this case, mea culpa, but a trusted individual has been given summaries to post. I think that's the best anyone can do.
I do not guarantee regular posting. Sometimes, I write 12k words of great stuff in a week. Others, I'm far less productive. This is exactly why I'm not a professional writer.
Descriptions of my works follow.
The Game of Kings: While describing the plot of the story is difficult without giving at least something away, it is, in brief, an imaginary "fourth route" to Fate/Stay Night - and a sequel, of sorts, to Unlimited Blade Works. Archer and Shirou are the focus characters of this route, and things go differently from the beginning - from the very beginning. Read into the end of that previous sentence very, very deeply please, or you might be unpleasantly surprised.
Status Update: Final revisions of some damn letter that I hate with all my soul.
Episode Name: Spiral of Awakening
General Info: This episode will feature The Director of the Clock Tower, Waver Velvet, a dead civilization and an unlikely team exploring it's ruins. And dead apostles. Can't forget dead apostles. All over the place. Like a swarm of baby spiders eating a bird. A rotting bird. Made of spiders.
Sagacity Unbroken - Shadows of the Green Sky: My spin on a Bloodline Naruto story. It's a heavy-duty AU; mainly because I've lost all respect for most post-timeskip canon.
Features more powerful clans, a third child of the sage, and her bloodline, which is discord. Bijuu are hostile genius locii, forms of shapeless silence that violate the precepts of reality with their own implacable logic.
Jinchuuriki, in turn, do not contain demons. They are boundaries, and they exist to keep the power of the Nine and the None from touching our world. In history, there is no such thing as the Jyuubi.
But in the future, there might be.
In the aftermath of the invasion, Naruto wakes up in a hospital, bandages over his eyes. This is the beginning.
In the desolate ruins of Amegakure-That-Was, something old and weary sleeps.
In the shining spires of Soragakure, a nameless shadow swims free throughout the sky, and teaches the world to paint in the all the colours of despair.
In a desolate country without a name, two Shinobi sit down to discuss an old entry in a journal over drinks. Here is the middle.
In the Village Hidden in Leaves, all is silent and nothing moves. The land is dead. The trees are dead. the people are gone.
In the Hidden Silence, a plan is born - one that will either reshape the world forever, or drown it in an ocean of flame.
In the shattered space-between spaces, the ninth turns and turns and turns.
It was born to live.
We were born to die.
And somewhere nameless, a forgotten king sits on a derelict throne, wrought of steel and glass. Head cocked, eyes mad, he opens his ancient mouth and in a voice unheard for ages asks, "Where? Where is the end?"
Current Status: Up to Ch 11 written in rough, editing work on hold until TGoK reaches the point it's original manuscript reached.
La Tour et Mort: A very strange crossover, based on a dream, that merges the setting of Melty Blood (but not the characters) with the world mechanics and characters of Tsubasa Resevoir Chronicle and xxxHolic, and also the world mechanics of Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica.
There are no words for how utterly fucked the protagonists are.
Current Status: Pending rewrite because it's about as coherent as a fever dream in it's current form. This is a project of marginal priority - few people are interested in it, my own interest is minimal because I know exactly what I'd be writing down to the last and smallest details.
Works without a concept of "End"
Devil Fruits - A Report: A slight crossover between the concepts of the SCP Foundation-verse and One Piece, writing by the thus-named Dr. Vegapunk. Abandon all real science, ye who enter here.
Current Status: Writing a non-canon fruit, because the idea is frankly too neat to pass up. New chapters, and revisions and such for this story are posted when I feel like it - I only really update it when I have a fun or terrifying brainwave on how certain devil fruits work, and unfortunately, as I barely read One Piece, this is not a common occurrence.
Sha Nagba Imuru: My take on a self-insert fic. Megacross. I'm probably the most unsympathetic human being you'll ever meet. More flaw than character, really.
Shinobi: In naruto, we see one god, but Shinto was never a monotheism. Thus, when all is lost, Uzumaki Naruto summons Itsugami, the God of When, to bargain for a chance to roll the dice once more.
Are you asleep yet? Because I'm having a hard time staying awake in such a boring setup - the Naruto peggy sue fic has been done to death. To spice things up a bit, this story is an AU in the same way Axenome's rogue fox is an AU. I consider this project to have the greatest potential aside from that Game of Kings.
Harry Potter/Negima Crossover: That's the title of the story. The summary will be an elipseis. Written under the thesis that if I make the interior fantastic, a completely boring exterior won't hurt it too much. That thesis unfortunately precludes me from saying much on it here.
How to find Great Stories with Great Ease
This is a simple method to find the best of the best on this site. This isn't "my" best of the best! Because of how the method works, it will always be your own best of the best - so if you don't like my taste? Not even a problem.
This works because authors you like usually write the kind of stories they want to read, and therefore read the sort of stories that you'll like. AND REMEMBER: If you've written even ONE story, never just follow a story if you like it, fave it so everyone else can find it too! Someone could be using your story as their staring point!
Hey! One last thing! If you like this method, please copy it to your own profile so it spreads all over the place! Let's help people find great stories!
