Author has written 6 stories for Sookie Stackhouse/Southern Vampire Mysteries, and Fever Series.
As a child and teenager, I wrote screenplays and short stories and had a list of all the romance novels I was going to write when I 'grew up'. Well, life happened and my dreams fell to the wayside, but I still love to read and I thought I'd dip my feet again in the writing pool. I am going to only do one-shots until I get my confidence up.
Right now my reading obsessions are paranormal romance. I read Anne Rice as a teen, but didn't read vampire books again until Twilight. From there I fell into (and deeply in love with) The Sookie Stackhouse Mysteries. I'm also a fan of Anita Blake and (most) of her men. I've read a few Kresley Cole (like them - very old school with a dirty paranormal twist) and a few of the Black Dagger Brotherhood. I'm crazy about Cat and Bones, and am impatiently waiting for Vlad's story. I read the Fever series and liked it, but am not a fan of Jericho Barrons (one out of a million it seems LOL). I'll be writing some fic that will redeem Jericho in my eyes.
Diana Gabaldon and Nora Roberts are other authors I adore. There is not enough time during the day to read as much as I want. :p
One Year is a one-shot for the Anniversary Challenge. On her one-year anniversary of being released from prison, Arlene reflects back on a dire warning she got from Eric Northman.
A Fresh Start is also about Arlene, written for the Weekly One-Shot Challenge of the same name. Arlene and her kids are moving into their new place in Shreveport.
Ten Questions, written for the Weekly One-Shot Challenge, is a dialogue-only one shot where Sookie has to answer Arlene's questions because she lost a bet.
I Am The Knight, written for the Weekly One-Shot Challenge " Because in the land of predators, the lion never fears the jackal", shows us Eric being a lion.
Good Night Barrons is the first one-shot I have written for the Fever Series, starting on my personal road of Jericho Barrons' much-needed attitude adjustment when it comes to Mac.
