"This I declare about the LORD: He alone is my refuge, my place of safety. He is my God, and I trust Him." -Psalms 91:2
"Let other pens dwell on guilt and misery." -Jane Austen.
"You must stay drunk on writing so reality cannot destroy you." -Ray Bradbury.
"If you wish to be a writer, write." -Epictetus.
"Seduce my mind and you can have my body. Find my soul and I'm yours forever." -Anonymous.
"Writing, at its best, is a lonely life. Organizations for writers palliate the writer's loneliness but I doubt if they improve his writing. He grows in public stature as he sheds his loneliness and often his work deteriorates. For he does his work alone and if he is a good enough writer he must face eternity, or the lack of it, each day." -Ernest Hemingway.
"I have named you queen.
"I must write. My pen is heavy. Oh, lighten the load, for I must write." - Unknown.
"Good men don't need rules. Today is not the day to find out why I have so many." - 11th Doctor, Doctor Who.
"Harry Potter is all about confronting fears, finding inner strength, and doing what is right in the face of adversity. Twilight is about how important it is to have a boyfriend." - Stephen King.
"Better to write for the self and have no public, than to write for the public and have no self." -Cyril Connolly.
"If I didn't have writing, I would be running down the street hurling grenades in people's faces." -Paul Fussel.
“I have walked a stair of swords,
"That moment when you finish a book, look around, and realize that everyone is just carrying on with their lives as though you didn't just experience emotional trauma at the hands of a paperback." -Unknown.
"Place me like a seal over your heart, like a seal on your arm. For love is as strong as death, it's jealousy as enduring as the grave. Love flashes like fire, the brightest kind of flame. Many waters cannot quench love, nor can rivers drown it. If a man tried to buy love with all his wealth, his offer would be utterly scorned." -Song of Solomon 8:6-7.
"Walls have ears,
"The person, be it gentleman or lady, who has not pleasure in a good novel, must be intolerably stupid." -Northanger Abbey, Jane Austen.
"Heart is what drives us and determines our fate. That is what I need for characters in my books: a passionate heart. I need mavericks, dissidents, adventurers, outsiders and rebels, who ask questions, bend the rules, and take risks." -Isabel Allende.
"For a true writer each book should be a new beginning where he tries again for something that is beyond attainment. He should always try for something that has never been done or that others have tried and failed. Then sometimes, with great luck, he will succeed. How simple the writing of literature would be if it were only necessary to write in another way what has been well written. It is because we have had such great writers in the past that a writer is driven far out past where he can go, out to where no one can help him." -Ernest Hemingway.
“All my years to this moment
"I always let the characters guide the stories. They really let me know what they want to say and what action they want to happen." -Ellen Schreiber.
"A writer should write what he has to say and not speak it." -Ernest Hemingway.
"The woods are lovely, dark and deep,
"It matters not how strait the gate,
"A question that sometimes drives me hazy: am I, or are the others crazy?" -Albert Einstein.
"You can break the rules, but only occasionally, and only if you know them very, very well." - Ally Carter, Heist Society.
"My mind rebels at stagnation. Give me problems, give me work, give me the most abstruse cryptogram, or the most intricate analysis, and I am in my own proper atmosphere. But I abhor the dull routine of existence. I crave for mental exaltation." -Sherlock Holmes, The Sign of the Four, Arthur Conan Doyle.
"Once you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth." -Sherlock Holmes, The Hound of the Baskervilles, Arthur Conan Doyle.
"Was there any more wretched existence than the life of a writer who had run out of words?" - Inkdeath, Cornelia Funke.
"It is a curious thing, Harry, but perhaps those who are best suited to power are those who have never sought it. Those who, like you, have leadership thrust upon them, and take up the mantle because they must, and find to their own surprise that they wear it well." -Albus Dumbledore, The Deathly Hallows, J.K. Rowling.
"'After all this time?'
"Besides, the world isn't split into good people and Death Eaters. We've all got both light and dark inside us. What matters is the part we choose to act on. That's who we really are." -Sirius Black, The Order of the Phoenix, J.K. Rowling.
"The man of taste explained very well how a piece could have some interest, and almost no merit, he proved in a few words that it was not enough to introduce one or two of those situations which one finds in all romances, and which always seduce the spectator, but that it was necessary to be new without being odd, often sublime and always natural, to know the human heart and make it speak; to be a great poet without allowing any person in the piece to appear to be a poet, to know language perfectly - to speak it with purity, with continuous harmony and without rhythm ever taking anything from sense.
Starcrier's Top Ten Most Attractive Actors of All Time is currently undergoing revision because there are too many hot men around. Please bear with me as I get the plethora of cheekbones sorted. ;)

I'm a Christian and proud of it, but I won't judge you if your beliefs differ from mine. I may not agree with you, but, since I'm not God and in no position to judge, I won't. Keep it clean, and we'll get along swimmingly. Also, if you're in need of prayer about anything or just want to talk, my inbox is always open.
I've been writing since I could hold a pen, but I'm not perfect. Constructive criticism is appreciated due to my lack of experience, but flames will be used to roast live bunnies, so consider your options carefully. Reviews make the world go 'round. :D
You may have noticed that I'm a fan of the darker and odder pairings, because bad guys all deserve a little love. Main protagonists tend to bore me (with the notable exception of Obi-Wan Kenobi, who is actual perfection, fight me about it.) A few of my faves are: Loki, Rumpelstiltskin, Kahn, Ultron, Darth Vader, Raoul Silva, Captain Hook, (Any version, but I prefer Jason Isaacs, because, well, Jason Isaacs), Erik (Phantom of the Opera), Jareth, Victor Creed, Guy of Gisbourne, Scarecrow/Jonathan Crane, The Joker, Pitch Black (Rise of the Guardians), Cad Bane, Lucius Malfoy, Darth Maul, Jackson Rippner, and Jim Moriarty, as long as it's the Sherlock version. :)
I own pens in every color of the rainbow (except yellow), a fluffy pink bathrobe, a variety of assorted paperweights, and my OCs. I do not, however, own any of the stories I write for. Otherwise, you'd be writing disclaimers for me, and not the other way around. And hey, who knows? That just might happen someday. ;)
...that seems to be about it. Anyway, read and enjoy!
