Do I take requests? Real question: Will I read the request in time, and how long will it take me? Possibly ages.
I hate my messy stories, but I have only myself to beta -because I've never really liked somebody else reading my stories before a fan. I read and re-read my works so many times, you wouldn't believe how frustrating it gets. I don't go back to fix thing unless someone points it out, but right now I'm taking lots of care to keep my stories easy to read, and non-repetitive. Don't mind!
I KNEW IT! I'm never ever ever uploading without finishing a story! I get lazy, so I just don't write the story when I reach anything close to the ending. Ugh. I'm not leaving HTTYD: Genderbent, but I am on hiatus. Forever...
P.S: Don't get your hopes up, but I AM writing a "watching the movie" fanfic for HTTYD2. Yes, I know I'm late and most of you probably couldn't care less at this point, but it's summer and I had only homework to do. I haven't even finished with the first five minutes, but I already have about 30 pages. ASTRID AND HICCUP HAVEN'T EVEN TALKED YET!! It is kind of silly, though, considering Clara's starting to mess with the cast a bit more. Also, the syntax is silly. And in second person. Sometimes. But not really.
Anyway, I will spoil some of it for you, my unacknowledged reader: For Clara and Zero, it has been an entire year since they left the theater. For Berkians, it's only been a week, not that they remember... So, yes, it's yet another "they don't know anything about dragons thing". Except, it's not before the movie. It's sometime during the movie, a little after Stoick leaves, a lot before Hiccup perfects Toothless' tail. So, Clara
Nobody. Knows. Dragons. Are Awesome.
In my opinion (I think I've shared it before), Hiccup doesn't truly understand how awesome dragons are until after "Test Drive", where he states whilst petting a Terrible Terror that they'd been wrong about dragons all along. Sure, he liked Toothless, but Toothless didn't attack him. Other dragons did. He probably thought Toothless was just different. Not after that scene.
So, point is, Hiccup is still a bit on the Viking's side, but, against all odds, almost 100% on Toothless' side. Meaning he's also surprised at the idea of dragon racing but easily adjusts, etc.
That is enough spoilers. I gave you too much. I even spoke of the
I don't want to delete the last entries because I'm still working on those (seriously guys, I'm the worst and I'm not very sorry).
Anyway~ I started working on a Merlin fic (of course I did). As always, it became 20 pages of "nothing good" and I started another one. I wrote fifteen pages and choked. Ah, well... It's going pretty well, I think. Who doesn't love a resurrection fic? Merlin actually died in this one, so he also has to start over with the deja vu shite. Have you never just loved and hated how Merlin goes from being a nice guy with a tendency to make stupid choices to...Merlin??? As kind, and funny as he still was, he became used to killing. Used to danger, and keeping secrets. I wanted to write about that.
Mostly, it just looks like a modern version of the series for now. But everyone else is going through this deja vu process. Luther --pardon, Uther's reincarnation is as aware of magic as ever and still seeks to be rid of it. Arthur, however, along with most of the world, remains unawares.
Druids look for potential sorcerers and sorceresses, so don't worry. Magic is not totally out of use. Sadly, that also means bad people use magic as well. There're not as many magic users as there were in olden times, maybe even less than during Uther's reign, but there's certainly no lack. A large amount find themselves crossing paths with Merlin's reincarnation, Morgan, along the way --providing a story
Gaius was made out to be a pretty powerful sorcerer, even if he was rusty, so he was sought out by a druid, trained and thought many ways of the old religion as Dr. Galen Richard. He works in Camelot University's health centre. Hunith's counterpart, Hazel, knew this, but didn't really mean for Galen to help Morgan with his magic. It was just an opportunity for Morgan to get a nice, free-ish education.
Since Morgan can't exactly wait on Arthur as his manservant, he's become Galen's paid assistant. He thinks of becoming a nurse partition (by American standard, as I've recently discovered there's a difference). It's not like it matters, as neither Europe or Asia or America exist. Instead, there's Albion and Columbia...well, Asia can stay Asia :/
I think that's all I need to say? I'll leave the name's here (because I know some people get irked by a use of a name as replacement to the character's original). I kept the "normal" names and switched the famous and out of use ones:
Arthur is still Arthur.

Hogwarts Merlin, yes? this is just some thoughts on scheduling for first years right now. Who'da thought I'd get so into it Xd
So all I know is this: Transfiguration, Charms, Potions, History of Magic, Defence Against the Dark Arts, Astronomy and Herbology. Flying lessons (on broomsticks) are also compulsory. I know Slytherins share classes with Gryffindors on Fridays, as well as flying lessons on Thursday.
Okay, I have devised a schedule that is probably absolutely incorrect for the first year Slytherins. I began with every intention of leaving Potions as the only double class for our Slytherins, but that would have made for a lot of breaks and a shorter day. I went with what looked good on paper and have filled the first years’ first four 1-hour periods (9am to 1pm) with classes and leaving the afternoons (after lunchtime) free, except for flying lessons.
Monday: Charms, DADA, Transfiguration, Herbology
Class continues for other students until 5pm, but I didn’t want to give the first years a break before lunch, and by then I’d run out of classes to hand out (considering the number of credit hours I wanted students to get). I know for sure classes are over for Gryffindors by AT LEAST 3pm on Fridays, and decided to just hold that down for the rest of the weekdays. Lunch starts a 1pm and ends at about 2:30pm, so it worked out. On Wednesdays and Fridays, though, first years have to report to the grounds for lessons with Madam Hooch.
By the way, Slytherin plus Gryffindor first years only makes up 20 students, wao. With Merlin, I’ll make that 21.
