I'm Amanda! I'm twenty-two years old. I am a graduate student hoping to work in the music industry someday. I have always loved writing- English was my best subject in high school, and I actually placed out of it when I got to college, but I miss writing, so... here I am!
I joined and started publishing my first story in October 2011. As a full-time student finishing up my master's degree, I get pretty busy with school, but I'm always brainstorming for my stories and I update as often as I can. I love reading comments and hearing what people think, so please feel free to leave reviews, I read and cherish every single one. :)
The story "Broken Angel" is heavily inspired by music. Each chapter is named after a lyric from a song, and the story itself takes its title from a song by Boyce Avenue. Here is the list of songs that the chapter names come from, as well as the lyrics to "Broken Angel". (I used to have all of this info on here, but I decided to move it to avoid clutter. :D)
Also, if you want to talk to me or anything, you can message me! You can also find me on tumblr under the same username.
Thanks for reading, and I hope you enjoy my stories. :)
As of today, two of my stories, "In Real Life" and "Everything Has Changed", have been placed on temporary hiatus. I'm sure this isn't a shock considering how long it's been since they were updated, but I just wanted to get it out there. I am a college student, not Superwoman, and right now I just don't feel like I have the time to devote to them that I know they need. I need to do a lot of outlining and drafting so I have a game plan for them, and with everything going on in school I just can't. I am most definitely not abandoning them, though. I'm just giving them an official break while I finish up the semester and focus on my other three stories (which are outlined and I know exactly where they're going.). The two stories on hiatus will be taken off it this summer (which for me starts in about 2 weeks, yay!) and they will be finished up. Thanks!
