Author has written 6 stories for Harry Potter, and Hunger Games.
I have chosen my pen name as FromMyMind because everything I publish will be a little piece from my mind (although I'm sure that's pretty obvious and there's no need for me to have explained it ... let me stop now). It is also (and I probably shouldn't admit this because it makes me sound crazy) a way for me to escape from my mind for a little while - I can live as my characters. I reserve my right to a bit of escapism at all times :)
My enjoyment of reading and love of writing led me here, and also contribute to my particular (sometimes verging on pedantic) insistence on correct spelling and grammar. If I miss something in those regards, please do let me know! I don't tend to have a beta, so any mistakes will be my very own.
I think I've enabled anonymous reviews. Any and all reviews are very welcome!
As any writer does, I have my favourite pairings. Most of my work up until now has been in the Harry Potter universe. I absolutely adore Lily/James simply because there's so much scope - that said, I struggle with procrastination and with time (university student) so I don't know how much posting will happen. One of my little crazinesses, though, is that I don't like incomplete stories - so no multi-chapter fic will be posted until it's complete (I learned the hard way with the three-part Hunger Games story that I ended up taking a bit of a cheating easy out with). Harry and Hermione is probably my favourite pairing of all time. As I mentioned, I have written some Hunger Games (Gale/Katniss), but I doubt I'll be revisiting that fandom.
What else? Well, I don't write slash. I love romance - I'm a true romantic at heart and love things to tie up just a bit too perfectly. My romantic tendencies mean that I love the classics, and various quotes from sources that most people see as outdated. I also tend to go into way too much detail, but it makes it real for me to write like that. I'll attempt to control myself in any forthcoming fics. But as mentioned above, I don't know how prolific those will be - probably not very. Please consider this fair warning!
I realise that any of you reading this (if there are any of you at all) are more than likely here to find stories, not to read my ramblings. I should probably stop now.
