Author has written 9 stories for Mysterious Benedict Society series, Percy Jackson and the Olympians, Inheritance Cycle, Misc. Plays/Musicals, Lord of the Rings, 39 Clues, Secret Series, and Silmarillion.
Update: I've changed my pen name to Quiet Hiker from Hiker Writer since I don't really write that much considering that this site is about writing, and I am more quiet than I like writing (which I also enjoy a lot). Thank you and I apologize for any confusion!
Hi! As you see, I like hiking and I am quiet. I don't like writing in caps. I write original fiction too, which I obviously can't put on here, though I'm obsessed with fanfiction too. I generally read fantasy and adventure-type books. Here is what I like to read fanfiction of and what I would possibly write of:
The 39 Clues
The Mysterious Benedict Society
The Secret Series
Lord of the Rings
1. You can call me Hiker or Wendy or Quihi or something.
2. I'm female.
3. I'm in high school.
4. I will sometimes post co-written stories with my friend Rachel who does not have an account.
5. I like reading and writing about scenes (and missing scenes) from other points of view, especially ordinary people. Main characters are important to get events in a book moving, but they need the massive armies, the opposing armies, and the innocent bystanders for a book to be interesting and the plot to have a complete purpose.
Characters I love (NOT romantically- half are female)
Reynie Muldoon (MBS)
Kate Wetherall (MBS)
Sticky Washington (MBS)
Constance Contraire (MBS)
Cass (Secret Series)
Character I have a crush on
Faramir (LotR, the books) But I really do like him with Éowyn.
Yo-Yoji (Secret Series) Yep, I ship Cass-Ernest. I think.
Best Fanfiction About People Falling into Middle-Earth (that I've found):
I think this is a great category of stories when they are written well, so I've compiled a list of my favorites!
These are not Mary-Sue stories. They are realistic or semi-realistic stories (or as realistic as fantasy can be, meaning they follow canon) about people who are transported into Middle-Earth. These are in no particular order except the order I happened to think of them in.
I'm writing a crossover between the Mysterious Benedict Society and The Secret Series. I started it but now I'm not updating for awhile.
I also adopted Haiku Time from avrilkitties. It's a PJO fanfic. Finished!
Read and review!
