Author has written 11 stories for Generator Rex, and Transformers/Beast Wars.
How it all started...
It was another beautiful day of spring. I was working in my computer, enjoying the peace I felt as my brother wasn’t in the room with his constant war yelling and video-game music. Don’t misunderstand me, I love video-games, but I’m a big fan of classics more than the noisy and all technological MMORPG he likes to play. As I was saying, it was a beautiful day, until...
"Hey, sis!" yelled my brother from our parents room, in where the TV is placed. "You should see this! It's awesome!"
"Not interested!" I replied from my computer chair.
He was in the other room, separated by a small hallway that ends in the bathroom. I was in the other room; by that time it was the computer room. Our desks were attached to the same wall, but on opposites sides; mine, unfortunately was the closest to the door, meaning I could hear perfectly whenever he wanted to talk to me.
However, rest assured, he let me go that time. The next time, though ...
"Hey, sis!" he yelled from across the room. "You should see this serie, it's really good!"
"I'm busy, please!" I replied, annoyed to being interrupted.
He shoved it off, again. But his laugh and comments were loud enough to make me not lose a single part of what he was watching. Still, I know how to get rid of the extra noise, so I took my headphones and problem solved.
One day though, that day...
"What are you doing now?" I asked as I felt trapped by boredom.
We were in the computer room, he was all anxious, waiting for something to happen, and I was dying because there was no fan art (I was with anime restriction law, so I couldn’t colorate anything and I had nothing else left). Since the room isn’t so big, if I stretched a little I could see what he was doing; though it was he who did this most of the time, that day it was my turn if I wanted to survive boredom.
"Downloading the episodes of the serie!" he replied, excited.
It was odd for someone like him to download any serie (generally it was me who would download anything); the only thing he liked to download was his MMORPG games that would barely work in his computer (and therefore would NEVER work in mine). And since he was laughing when he saw the first episodes, I decided to take a look (I was bored, after all).
It was Generator Rex; a serie telling the story of a boy that could control machines and cure EVOs (creatures mutated by nano machines called nanites); as I looked up into the serie, I noticed it was good, really good. And, on top of that, the characters were perfect to work with my imagination.
It didn't pass long when I already had downloaded all the episodes from seasons one. While my brother stopped feeling interested in the serie after season one ended, I got hooked up and waited patiently for season two, downloading all the episodes of this when it aired.
If that wasn't enough, I wished to increase my fanaticism; to the point of taking screencaps (tons of them), doing some collage photos (and other fan art), reading all the fanfics I could search in this website, and then, finally, I created my own account. I started writing Holix, and much to my pleasure I found myself feeling in love of the dynamic of this couple. Many ideas crossed my mind those days, but only few managed to be published.
But, all things come to an end, good or bad; season three aired and, shortly after that, ended. I was the only one that ranted long time at home and outside of it. My brother only stared at me, wishing me to shut up. But, truth be told, he was happy that I had liked the serie.
"See? I told you to watch it!" he said once.
I, in my stubborn attitude, told him to shut up. He only laughed of me and advised me to trust him next time; I said I would probably do.
Generator Rex ended on October 28th, of 2012. I was sad because of it, good series are rare now. I was trying to revive my Holix addiction one day, when my brother, who was watching TV (bored with his MMORPG game, which wasn't working again), yelled from my parents room.
"Hey, sis! You should watch this!"
"Don't you see I'm busy!?" I yelled back, closing the door of my room.
The serie he was watching was Transformers Prime.
Hey, you! If you're reading this, pay attention!
In case you are wondering who am I, I used to be EndlessHope'22. However, since a year has passed, and many things have changed for me, I decided to go by the name of Aliyah from now on.
Tastes, personality, issues; you will learn little about me in here. I've been off the radar for almost a year, and I'm disappointed of saying that I've left a story unfinished. If I get a chance, and inspirations strikes back, I will finish it; but I wouldn't get my hopes too high for that, if I were you.
One thing you must know about me, is that english is not my native language. If you read my fanfics and find some grammar mistakes, don't be upset. I wrote those when I used to think as a child. Now, I must say, I've grown up... something.
If work allows me, and inspiration comes in, you will see me publishing about Transformers Prime.
There are two things you must know (and keep in mind) about me:
1. I'm a christian. I believe in God and love Him with all my heart and I try to live according to his teachings.
2. I don't like yaoi/yuri couples. I think I don't have to say more about this, I don't like guy/guy pairings nor girl/girl pairings. NO EXCEPTIONS!
As for the fanfics there are just two rules I use:
1. I do not publish unfinished stories:
If you ever see that I'm writing a long story, you must know, for sure, that I've already finished writing it and that I'm publishing chapter by chapter every two or three days (depends of the reviews). I hate when people leave unfinished stories, some of them promised big stuff and I just hate when they die all of a sudden (and since I'm pretty lazy I always publish what is already finished before people try to lynch me for lazy hehe)
2. I do not write lemon nor lime:
What it says, the farest I would dare to go would be an intense kissing scene or something like that, nothing of sex nor clothes off. So, don't ask for it because you know I won't write something like that. I think all of those stuff goes in the M-rated section and I do not write M-rated stuff.
P.S: Yeah, I know I already messed up with Rule #1, but you should be grateful I only failed once, because there are a lot of unfinished stories in my computer, three are about transformers, and the rest all about Generator Rex.
