2014: I'm taking part in this year's Twilight Twenty-Five (a challenge to write 25 prompts in 3 months). It's a welcome chance to dip my toe into writing again. I'm still working on things — Black Gold and Mud in particular, but that's a slow process, because I've got a lot going on in RL currently. Hoping TT25 helps inspire me again.

I was a latecomer to Twilight. I watched it for the first time on DVD only after New Moon had come out, to see what the fuss was about - thinking it wouldn't be for me. After that I gradually got sucked in, watched the rest and fell for it (and Rob). Breaking Dawn part 1 was the first one I'd seen at the cinema though. I read the books and then wanted more, hence the fanfic I suppose. Some of it is really great and can be an extension of the books or better. :) Also, fic Edward can be a lot more fun. ;) Now I'm finally trying my hand at writing my own too.

I tend to use my favourites list more as bookmarks for things I'm intending to read -- though a few are indeed things I've read and enjoyed. :)
