Author has written 66 stories for Harry Potter, and Law and Order: SVU.
6/15/16 Hello there, reader. Presumably you've stumbled across this profile because 1) you read something of mine and wanted to know more about me or 2) you and I are pre-existing fanfiction acquaintances and you've wondered where the hell I've been lately.
Well. The answer is simple--I've been away. My muse/ability to write/whatever you want to call it has disappeared over the past few years, and try as I might to recapture it, I remain generally unable to commit the things in my head down to words. You can throw in the typical problems--RL drama, bouts of depression, time suckers like jobs and kids, grief over Alan Rickman's passing and all the other terrible things in our world, undetermined health issues--all of these are true, but they are excuses, not explanations. I don't have an explanation, except: my stories are stuck in my head and they won't come out. For that, I am desperately sorry.
Your continued reviews, favorites, and occasional PMs are really, truly, so greatly appreciated. It is nice to know there are people out there who still want to know what happens in Captured, or Tenacity. If I haven't responded to your review or PM, know that it is because I feel so guilty about being unable to add to these stories that I can't bring myself to write you back. It's me, not you.
I never wanted to "abandon" a story. I like to think I still haven't--it's more that my stories have abandoned me. [Insert sad little cricket playing a tiny violin.] I miss you, dear fandom. I miss writing. I miss Severus and Hermione and Neville and Luna and all their various incarnations in the world of fanfiction, from the serious to the absurd. I miss the exhilaration of publishing a new chapter and waiting for notifications to come in. I miss YOU.
Hi, I'm Krissy! I'm overdue for a profile update. I was slow to pick up the Harry Potter books initially, but once I did I was immediately hooked for life. I love, love, love the books and movies and anything else I can get my hands on. Hence my foray into fanfiction! I am slow to update and even slower to respond to reviews, but I honestly swear I love receiving them, and I always try to review when I read something.
My favorite pairing is Hermione & Snape, even though I was shocked when I first saw it. I love a well-written romance story, and anything involving pirates! I appreciate your reviews because I'm a self-centered egomaniac, and I feel a rush of giddiness when I see the alert in my inbox. I would be nothing without my fabulous team of alphas, betas, and general idea-bouncer-off-ers. WeasleySeeker, Jemennuie, Muggle Jane, Worrywart, and yes, even you, Makokam - thank you for the time and effort you exert on my behalf.
Pottermore: AccioPhoenix143...House of Huff! Friend me :)
I've just started exploring some other fandom areas, namely Pirates of the Caribbean and Law & Order: SVU. If you feel so inclined, please try out one of my stories from SVU and let me know what you think so far!
I promise to review every fanfic I read whether it be fantastic, useless, or anywhere in between. I make this pledge because I know how frustrating it is as an author to have hundreds (or thousands) of hits and only a handful of reviews. Copy and paste this onto your profile if you promise to do the same!
