Author has written 8 stories for Lord of the Rings, Moulin Rouge, and Cold Mountain. 'Ello, Mary Helen here. Else you can call me Ta; either works.I'm a writer, a violinist, and a Christian. I also happen to spend every possible moment online. I have summarized my life. Reviews are treasured and reviewers adored. Constructive critics are held even more highly. I have a larger list of work on FictionPress (http://www.fictionpress.com/~NatashaRostof). Ideas of mine are few and far between – therefore, it’s not a lack of dedication, but inspiration that keeps my portfolio thin. My favorite authors list is composed of the few amazing writers I’ve gathered my courage to review...and, admittedly, a couple I haven't yet. It takes effort (the gathering courage bit), and doesn’t happen much, I’m afraid. But there are a lot of awesome people out there I’m so in awe of, I can’t find words to express. (That also explains why my reviews to those authors on my list are so tactless.) Am I babbling? I think so. Now, for story information: (3/14) Ain't No Harm is my first Cold Mountain story, and was such fun to write. There's meant to be a meaningful exchange between Ada and Ruby, though I'm not sure how well that came through. Kindly review... Curtains went through several drafts and expanded from a weird bit of a metaphor I noticed to a story about it. Any similarities to The Others are entirely coincidential, I promise. ;) The Bird was a random (and, for me, incredibly rare) strike of inspiration that lasted from midnight to 4:30 one night. Her Hosea...died, in the middle of its last chapter. Nobody cares, anyway. Meh. You, You is finished, and has been since I posted it, being a short story. It’s the only one I’ve ever managed to write, so…’tis unique for me. Invasions and Reunions began before I knew that fanfiction existed at all. Upon discovering this site, I posted what I’d written over a year beforehand. Meaning…it’s quite dead and gone. |
