Update: February 7, 2014
After nearly a year, Thyme2read and I have returned to finish our story "Trivial Pursuits"! For mere "follies and nonsense to laugh at," it's a great story, if I do say so myself. Please check it out (on Thyme's page, also in my favorites), and don't forget to leave us a review!
As work on my novel progresses, updates to my other stories will continue to be sporadic for the time being. But rest assured, they will all be completed eventually.
So you're intrigued by this lady writer, are you? Obviously, since you've pulled up my profile page! Thank you for visiting!
It all started out as a way to free myself from the doldrums of this mundane existence. Over three years later, I'd like to think I've come a long way. You need only read my first story and compare it to my latest update to see what I mean. Naturally, I realize there's a long way to go still. Right now, I'm in the process of writing my very first novel (go me!). My husband hopes I'll be famous someday, so that he can at last live the life he's accustomed to (Yeah, he's cute like that). As it turns out, it's the life I'm accustomed to myself, so I'll give it a shot.
As far as FanFiction is concerned, my favorite subjects to write about are Romulan characters from TNG and DS9. Centurion Bochra, from "The Enemy," is my favorite--just in case you can't tell! "Is it not a truth universally acknowledged, that an unmarried Romulan must be in want of a human wife?" So wrote one of my reviewers. Yep, you guessed it! That's pretty much the basic scenario of most of my Star Trek stories. You have been warned. ;-) One day, I'd like to write a Star Trek novel, but that's going to have to wait awhile since those are quite difficult to get published. For now, I'll be content with my secret FF identity.
On occasion, I like to try my hand at other characters and universes when the fancy strikes me.
My avatar was done by the lovely and talented Thyme2read. It's of Centurion Bochra and Lady Guinevere's first meeting, as told in my stories, "First Impressions, or the Bodyguard," and "Rage Against The Dying Of The Light." Our hero just didn't know what hit him! To see the full-sized version, along with many other fabulous drawings, refer to Thyme's profile on Deviant Art.
Note bene: On principle, I don't read or write anything M-rated. Slash isn't my thing, either.
