I'm still alive, though it doesn't feel like it. I was forced to move again, coupled with a stolen car, being laid off, and restarting college courses. Oh, and going off my meds for a couple months. Fun times. I'm making no promises, but I've started reconstructing lost sections of new chapters from back when I had to sell my old computer. I may or may not have the time to pump out a new chapter or two, it will all depend on health and classes. I'm hopingI can at least add to Strays or Guarding Death within the next couple months. I won't lie since my track record is bad, I may end up just deleting my WIPs. I don't like leaving stories hanging since I know to readers it's like running full-tilt into a brick wall when you get to the last chapter and realize the author hasn't updated in years. I don't want it to come to that for Strays and Guarding Death, so Death's Visage may be on the chopping block. To be honest the muse for that one has been dead for the past year and new ones keep popping up cluttering any inspiration I might have had for Hellsing/HP. We'll have to see. At the very least a couple of them will be put on clear hiatus.

It's been a long break, that I'm extremely sorry for. I know I got a lot of emails from people concerned that I abandoned all of my in progress stories. I haven't. This is the first time in a long while I've had access to a computer. I was evicted from my apartment back in May and was homeless up until recently. I'm couch surfing with a friend until I can sort out whether or not I can get my academic suspension revoked and my financial aid back; losing my apartment meant I couldn't attend classes. I had to sell my old computer, so I lost progress on new chapters. If I can get financial aid reinstated I'll be able to get a new computer and get back on top of things. In the mean time, working on some old stories will be good for keeping my mind off of things.

College once again took away what little free time I had to work on stories. I'm going to school full time, so assignments came first. The only good part is that finals week is coming up, after which I can buckle down and get back to pleasure writing. It's hard to focus on fiction when all of your assignments for the term have been non-fiction research proposals and argument analysis. Can't wait 'til I can take some creative writing courses.

In addition, I have been diagnosed with Bipolar II disorder. The medications I am on are still balancing out, so I haven't had much energy for anything beyond required homework. The term break will give me a chance to relax and hopefully adjust to the dosages, which will allow me more focus and energy.
