Author has written 2 stories for Chronicles of Narnia, Cats, and Catwoman.
Alrighty then, let's get this show on the road!
I'll start by telling a little about myself. I am twenty years old, my birthday is May 10, 1991, and I live in Tennessee, U.S.A. I am blind, but not totally, and in absolutely no way, shape or form am I sensitive about it. It is actually the root of many of my jokes with which I tease my family from time to time. Everybody who knows me and my sense of humor always gets a big laugh out of my jokes, but others who don't know me quite as well always kinda look like "Huh?" or they're like, "Oh my God!" and then they look all sheepish. I find this utterly hysterical. So, if you have a sudden urge to tease me about being blind, let it be noted that you have my automatic approval because I take it all in good stride. I'm very difficult to offend, so don't worry about upsetting me...unless you're actually trying to offend me...but I don't recommend that. *devilish grin*
As I have a bit of trouble updating my profile due to a minor disagreement between the setup and my JAWS program, my profile probably won't go through many changes, so I'm trying to get everything down right now so that I don't have to ask my friend to keep updating the silly thing for me. So, most of my updates regarding stories, chapters, or otherwise will probably exist in the author notes within the chapters. (Hey, don't look at me like that-all the more reason for you to read and keep up with my stories! Mwahahaha!) Let's see...I have a very good sense of humor, am an optimist to my grave, and, uhh...I just adore making new friends, so contact me! Lol
I am an extreme animal lover; I have had many pets over the years and currently have three indoor pets and between five and ten outdoor cats that were strays but we feed them, and by TN state law, if a stray animal is on your property for more than, I think it's a week or something like that, and you feed them, then legally they belong to you. So, our indoor pets consist of two cats and a dog. There's KP (Kitty Puss), a male gray tabby cat who's very long and tall for a housecat, is somewhat fat, and is very laid back. He's sorta everybody's cat, but he's my baby because he sleeps with me every night, and he lays with me and purrs when I'm sick or upset. The second cat, definitely my cat, is named May. May is a solid black manx with golden eyes. For anyone who doesn't know, the manx breed of cat is recognizable for their hind legs being noticeably longer than their front legs. Most manx have no tails (May doesn't), however it is possible for them to have bobtails or even full-length tails. It is the hind legs that is the defining feature. Our one dog is a dachshund named Rudy, who used to belong to our neighbor but he passed away and his wife didn't want him anymore, so we took him. He barks a lot...not much else I can say. Lol He has a lot of personality, and he is of the black and red coloration, resembling the markings of a Doberman pinscher.
I'm currently in the process of writing my own saga. When completed, the saga will contain four books and a prequel. Currently, as of November 10, 2011, the first three are done, and the fourth is nearing the end. After this, only the prequel will remain. Also, the saga may have a couple of companion books similar to what Stephenie Meyer did with The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner being a companion novella to Eclipse. I've also written a short story about a murder investigation, and have plans for two or three other separate books that I plan to write once my saga is complete, one of which rotates around my pen name as the main character. I may have Amelia show up in one or two of my fanfics, but I haven't decided yet. So, for those of you who are reading this and thinking, "Hmmm, Amelia Valencia...that's really catchy, I like that..." You can't do it! She's already been created as an official book character and all of my works outside of fanfiction.net are self-copyrighted, which is perfectly legal, in case you're wondering. ;D
Let's see...what else? Ahh yes, interests! My favorite movie of all time, no doubt whatsoever, is Titanic (the good one from 1997 with Kate Winslett and Leonardo DeCaprio). My other favorite would probably have to be Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron. Other than these, I love all the classic Disney movies like Lion King, Beauty and the Beast, Mulan, Lady and the Tramp, etc. My favorite genre of movies is horror. I adore scary movies, and am not easily spooked. This is why my favorite holiday next to Christmas is Halloween. I love dressing up in costumes and acting out the parts. I think I could be a very good voice actress, if not an actual actress because I'm very good at getting into character. When I am in the mindset of a character I really like, I feel their emotions. And it's not just my characters either! Emily.Doreen.Atkinson, that chapter in your CATS fic where Roxelle died had me sobbing and sniffling because I was all into Munk's state of mind! And Mischivous Purple One, you already know from all our RPs that I've been caught crying in RL before when we were playing out something sad!
OK, now on to music. Yay! I love to sing. I know I could probably use a little improvement here and there because I'm partially deaf in my right ear, but when my voice cooperates and I can actually really sing, I've been told I have a beautiful voice and have made my audience cry several times. I was in the school chorus for pretty much all of my middle and high school years, and I was picked to be in the choral ensemble in my senior year, and was given quite a few solos throughout the year. I'm pretty tolerant of just about every genre of music except for rap or really heavy metal stuff. I really can't stand rap and metal gives me a headache, but I do own two Iron Savior songs that I actually love. My three favorite genres are country, rock/pop rock, and pop-dance mix-type songs. For an example of the dance mix type, go to youtube and search "Da Buzz". They're a Swedish pop-dance group and I love them! When it comes to rock, I am majorly addicted to the 70's and 80's rock like Journey, Jefferson Starship, Foreigner, and Heart. For country, all-time favorite is Reba McEntire, other favorites including Sara Evans, Martina McBride, Shania Twain, Carrie Underwood, Kellie Pickler (who I have met! I was actually in her music video for "Don't You Know You're Beautiful"), SHeDAISY (whom I have also met backstage at the Grand Ole Opry, courtesy of my stepdad who used to play with Joe Diffie), Brooks & Dunn (used to know them a long time ago, but I don't actually remember it), Darius Rukker (always been a huge Hootie and the Blowfish fan, so when he switched to country I was all over it. Lol), and Loretta Lynn. I failed to mention that my favorite artist in the rock department is Celine Dion. I love singing along to her music, and I just straight out love her.
Just for fun, here's a list of famous artists I've met and where I met them. ^_^
Charlie Pride (Grand Ole Opry)
Buddy Jewel (G.O.O.)
Little Jimmy Dickens (G.O.O.)
Joe Diffie (G.O.O)
Kellie Pickler (music video; got involved due to being a member of the Pediatric Advisory Council (PAC) for the James Monroe Carroll Children's Hospital in Nashville, TN.)
Brooks & Dunn (used to be friends with my mom when I was too little to remember...bummer, huh? Lol)
Milly Kirkham (sang background vocals for Elvis Presley, most noteably for the "ooo" parts in "Blue Christmas"; stepdad used to play for Ronnie McDowell, who often does Elvis shows with artists who knew and worked with Elvis himself; Miss Milly actually came to my high school graduation! How cool is that?!)
Also on the Elvis list, I've met the Jordanairs, only one of which I think was still one of the original members, the Stamps (one still original), and D.J. Fontanna (Elvis's original drummer)
Actors: Jim Carey, Eddie Murphy, Mike Myers, Leonardo DeCaprio, Robert Pattinson, Robin Williams, Adam Sandler, Reba McEntire, Kristen Stewart, Drew Barrymore, Whoopi Goldberg, Kate Winslett, Jennifer Anniston, Sandra Bullock, Anne Hathaway, Ellen DeGeneres

And, last but not least, my favorite musicals, which are CATS and Surrender Road. Yes, I know, that's only two, but I haven't seen very many musicals in my life, and even fewer of them live. I have seen CATS live three times and Surrender Road once on a high school field trip. Though it's not a musical, I also attended a live performance of The Crucible during my senior year, and loved it. Oh! Years ago, I saw STOMP live as well, but only once and I just barely remember it.
I think that's all I've got...did I forget anything? *listens to the distant cricket chirping* I take that as a no...? OK, well I'm gonna stop rambling on for eternity so you can go read my stories! Yays!
Oh, and did I mention, that I have just a touch of insanity? Heeheeheehee...don't worry, you'll see it come out in my stories, and especially if I decide to introduce Amelia anywhere.
