Author has written 38 stories for Lord of the Rings.
I have been a LOTR fan since 1988. Pippin has always been my favorite character, and right behind him is Merry. I will be the first to say that I am not a professional writer; I can barely call myself an amateur. However, I love writing about hobbits and, for a time, it had become quite an addiction (2003-2007). My passion has always been with the books, and I did try to stay within canon -- or within the ME parameters that the Professor set via the books and the appendices. But I also knew when to let loose and have fun. I had even created a few original characters along the way--yet I attribute even them to JRRT because all hobbits belong to his wonderful imagination.
It's been a long time since I've written anything, but I am grateful for the few brave hearts that have stopped by to read my stories recently. A review is nice, but certainly isn't required. My first few tales, well...let's just say that my storytelling is unmistakably amateur. With the help of some wonderful friends in the fandom, I did improve a little over time.
There is one story that is not posted here, but is posted over at Stories of Arda, "The Storyteller". It's one of my favorites, and I hope the reader enjoys it as well, if read. (Let's hope the link works!) I'll archive it here someday, but I think at the time of the original post, ff.net was going through some changes that I didn't want to deal with at the time.
Take care, enjoy, and perhaps I'll see you around the fandom!
