Gotham Nights by drewben
drewben does a wonderful job of incorporating the DC comics into the Nolanverse storyline. Highly unrecognized, this story is a gem in a pile of rocks. It focuses on all the characters in a way that is excellently executed and holds the characters and stpryline to canon in a way I haven't seen before. This is an excellent story and one you should all read. Read it NOW!
Genesis by Anoushkala

Because this story is not posted on Fanfiction.net, many have been deprived of this beautifully written story of a Nolanverse Origin of the Joker and how he met Harley Quinn. In it, Jack Napier was a Captain in the Army and an Iraqi War Veteran who ends up convalescing in the hospital where Harleen Quinzel works and who begins to treat him. This is a fantastic story and draws the reader into the hellscape in which Jack Napier served as he recounts his story to Dr. Quinzel. One you should all check out.
Rictus and The Land of Nod by vertigeaux
vertigeaux has a wonderful way of weaving words into tight, conscise works which illustrate her mastery of the short story. These two are works I have looked back on often as they are pleasing to the eye and tickle the mind.
City of Sorrows by Kagmi-Cron
This inspiring story waves the tale of the battle between the Joker and the Riddler in excellent fashion.
Impromptu Affair by GreyLilly
This hilarious story keeps all characters in canon and depicts the Joker in the best of his worst.
A Joker's Plot by Mrs.WayneJokerfan
This is my favorite parody, what can I say? "I Want Hydrogen Bombs!"
Maelstrom by Apheliongirl
Fugue by Apheliongirl
Apheliongirl is a fantastic writer and this is apparent by her parallel works telling the story from Harley and the Joker's side of the story, respectively, and depicts the Joker in true form.
The Harlequin by knit-wear
This is my favorite Harley Quinn Origin piece.
A Fairly Honorable Defeat by knit-wear
This is an extremely interesting spin on the Harley-Joker romance.
Seven Year Bitch by Majjic Mouse
This story just cracks me up.
