NEWEST UDPATE (8/9/23)

Well hot damn, would you look at how the time just passes! I've long-since stopped trying to separate fandom life from real life; ain't no shame in my game any longer. Now, let's get down to business:

All Naruto fanfictions are postponed indefinitely. That doesn't mean for good, just as far as I can see. Twilight has me by the balls and baby its grip is relentless. The third and final installment of the Call of the Night series, in addition to a novella-length two shot, will be my project for 2024. Recently, my focus has been on my upcoming Twilight fic, Roots. My life is all Twilight nowadays; seriously, you could ask anyone I know online or irl. I even have a new Twilight podcast that I co-host with my best friend called Three Books One Plot. You can find us on most podcast streaming platforms. In our first season we read Twilight, Life and Death, and Midnight Sun all at once, and our upcoming second season promises to be just as funny, silly, and insightful as the first.

Since I updated my profile last I've moved across the country, written and posted 33 Twilight fics, endured all the pandemic-era Los Angeles offerings, taken a break from childcare, made a shit-load of real life friends, gotten COVID (more times than I want to admit), and I gained a slew of fandom friends (and enemies) and one (1) stalker. I've had a wild five years but I've come out the other side a very, very happy person. Oh, and with an ADHD diagnosis and actual proper meds for the first time in my life. It's been pretty cool, growing into my 30s as a person I enjoy being.

Anyways, thanks for reading my stories, both old and new. I hope you're all well. Feel free to follow my IG if you ever need cheering up. (Or if you just want to talk about fic.)

UPDATE (10/7/18)

Yes, I am aware that it's been two years since I've updated my bio. No, I never have anything to say for myself. Not even a half-assed and hardly-meant apology this time. I'm an adult. My priorities lie elsewhere most of the time. I don't get paid for this shit. (Unless you want to buy me a coffee--link down below.) So sue me.

I recognize that comes off as a bit combative and I apologize, but some of y'all really know how to be... bothersome. And I know there are a lot of kids on here, but still. Sending rude shit doesn't get you chapters of stories. Ever. No exceptions. Go work on your manners you entitled little brats.

On to business: SYS and NCTS are still on hiatus. Clearly. CotN is the priority and every other story (or idea) I've ever had in my life or ever shared with you all is currently uh, not being worked on. Between my own music (also linked below) and this Twilight story, I'm really fucking busy. Not to mention working all of my random jobs and attempting to smash my foot through a door in the music industry is downright exhausting. Doesn't leave a lot of room for leisure, even though most of my free time is spent working on fics and writing music. Outside of that? Good luck getting any other content from me for a while. (I even have my YouTube channel on hold--you guessed it: linked below--while I catch up with all of this.)

Tumblr is back to flowerslut, feel free to follow and send me questions. I'm 1000% more likely to answer your story-related questions there. These author's notes are starting to get pretty long. On Tumblr I can go into better detail and provide y'all with more of what you really want, which I'm assuming is answer to your questions and bonus content. So yeah, go ahead and pop on over to look at all the shit posts and random nonsense galore.

Just made a ko-fi, which I know very little about, but my understanding is that it's a tip jar. So uh, *ahem, feel free to check that out if you're uh... financially able to. And if you appreciate any of the work I've done over the past several years. Y'know, it'd be nice and all.

UPDATE (10/15/16)

Don't have too much to say in regards to having both Swallow Your Sleep and Never Count The Stars on year long hiatuses, other than a half-hearted "sorry". But good news! Swallow Your Sleep is coming out of hiatus for the time being, although NCTS will remain on hiatus until SYS is finished. And when that happens I'll likely be leaving behind for good. I've slowly--very, very slowly--began moving my stories to AO3 under the same pen name, and have since joined another fandom. Whoops. Not on purpose, I swear.

I'm not sure where my future as a Naruto fanfiction author lies, but rest assured that both of these fics (SYS & NCTS) will both be finished before I make my move to AO3 complete. I have many ideas for more multi-chapter Naruto stories (both NH & SS central) but whether or not these will ever be written is up in the air currently. With my recent decision to work on my music and take that career path more seriously, these are some sacrifices I'm prepared to make.

I've recently changed my Tumblr url from flowerslut to artsie, so if you'd like to keep up with the fandom nonsense I'm currently obsessed with outside of these fics, feel free to follow me on there.

UPDATE (12/28/2015)

Welcome to Hell finally wrapped up in October, Swallow Your Sleep is approaching the 50k mark and getting close to being halfway done, and Never Count The Stars will likely pick up with regular updates this spring. Hope that's not disappointing. I'm just trying to focus on one story at a time, since my attempt at juggling three was only that: an attempt. Too stressful if you ask me. Definitely won't do that again.

I'm planning on participating in NaruHina month this January on Tumblr, but so far I don't have a damn thing written; I guess we'll see if I can pull some stories out of my ass in time for next week.

I have one story in production currently that I'm hoping to have out by the summer. It will have all canon pairings but be a little more NH, with secondary SS and even less of the other couples. It'll be an attempt at a dark!college AU. I've never seen one done before but I've had this idea swimming through my head for literal years now. It'll deal with some gritty stuff and divulge pretty deeply into the world of drugs, mental illness, and sex work. It won't be for everyone, but for some reason it's very important that I write it. I don't know why, but I just have to. I can't get it out of my head.
