On a Sears hairdryer: Do not use while sleeping. (Apparently sleep-drying is real).
On a bag of Fritos! ..You could be a winner! No purchase necessary. Details inside. (Hey, shoplifters everywhere!)
On a bar of Dial soap: "Directions: Use like regular soap." (And that would be how?...)
On some Swanson frozen dinners: "Serving suggestion: Defrost." (But it's only a suggestion!)
On Tesco's Tiramisu dessert (printed on bottom): "Do not turn upside down." (well...duh, a bit late, huh)!
On Marks & Spencer Bread Pudding: "Product will be hot after heating." (Wha? Since when?!)
On packaging for a Rowenta iron: "Do not iron clothes on body." (But wouldn't this save me more time?)
On Boot's Children Cough Medicine: "Do not drive a car or operate machinery after taking this medication." (We could do a lot to reduce the rate of construction accidents if we could just get those 5-year-olds with head-colds off those forklifts.)
On Nytol Sleep Aid: "Warning: May cause drowsiness." (You don't say...)
On most brands of Christmas lights: "For indoor or outdoor use only." (As opposed to...what?)
On a Japanese food processor: "Not to be used for the other use." (Now, somebody out there, help me on this. I'm a bit curious.)
On Sunsbury's peanuts: "Warning: contains nuts." (Talk about a news flash)
On an American Airlines packet of nuts:"Instructions: Open packet, eat nuts." (But that's so complicated!)
On a child's superman costume:"Wearing of this garment does not enable you to fly." (I don't blame the company. I blame the parents for this one.)
On a Swedish chainsaw:"Do not attempt to stop chain with your hands or genitals." (...I don't want to know...)
On T-Rat (Military food):Its not for Human Consumption, Animals and Military Use only... (Hey, easy on the military bashing, they're humans too!)
A 15 year old girl holds hands with her 1 year old son. People call her a slut. No-one knows she was raped at 13. People call a girl fat. No-one knows she has a serious disease which causes her to be over weight. People call an old man ugly. No-one knows he had a serious injury to his face while fighting for our country in the war. Repost this if you're against bullying and stereotyping. 95% of you won't. "
I am not normal, I am not the only one of my kind, I am special and I have reasons for my secrets. The only thing I keep close to me is a pen, a pad of paper, my secrets and my knife. Because you’ll never know what will try to kill you when you’re part of a nation, when you are a Fan Fictioner. - Lynx of the Sand
Post this if you are a Fan Fictioner and you’re proud of it.
If you believe in Jesus Christ put this in your profile and don't just ignore this, because in the Bible, it says if you deny me, I will deny you in front of my Father in the gates of Heaven.

This is one of my favorite one shots it's by Our Dancing Days who has since deleted the story this one shot was in, man I was bummed.
Never Been Children
He tries to hate them, those reflections in the mirror - he does. But all he sees are three children who lost their childhood a long, long time ago.
One boy never had one in the first place. The girl just knows too much to be naive. The third can't really remember a time before saving the world. And it's sad. Because the Half Blood Camp only see a golden trio - a boy who has everything, a girl who knows everything and a friend who wants everything.
But the world is so very blind.
They see children. But he sees adults trapped under young faces - guilt and loss hidden under sparkling, unwrinkled eyes - cautious movements forgotten under porcelain skin.
And they are anything, anything, but innocent. They are not dumb, or blinkered, or guarded, or spoilt. They don't know only love; instead they are afraid of it, petrified, because they have seen love lost. And they know that the good guys don't always win.
He knows this, and he wonders why nobody on the outside does.
Children laugh a lot more than they do, and usually, it's just a front, a play, an act, anyway.
They grew up quickly, too quickly. Their eyes are shadows, moving pictures of wars that have yet to be fought. For the time that the Greek world has known them, they have never been children, and yet they are still seen as such.
They go to each other for comfort, because they know each other's pain. All three, curled up and in on themselves because they're hiding from a world that sees them as teenagers.
He thinks that it's a very sad thing, to grow old far before your years. And it's an even sadder thing if you don't even know it.
