Writes mostly in the Classic Thunderbirds fandom, but occasionally branches out.
October 21, 2016 - Got the sad news today, Margaret K., the "Magrat' part of Thunderbirds author GrumpyMagrat is gone after a battle with cancer. Mourning with you, Grumpy, now and in the days ahead. 2016 has been a bitch for taking so many of our creative people.
On a personal note, I am now in physical therapy for my neck and shoulder. I'm also using a cane to keep me stable as I walk. However, driving restrictions have been lifted, which will make life here easier for everyone, I think. Oh, my daughter is back in her bedroom. First step in reclaiming my living room!
*Tikatu takes a deep breath...*
The next chapter of Moonstrike! is with my beta and I found a partial chapter 28 to Overtures as well, so I'm finishing that. I'll probably have to read through the whole story arc to see what plot threads I need to tie up. Yes, I want to get my original work done, too, but for that to happen, I need to get back into the swing of writing every day again.
A timely reminder to all Thunderbirds writers: the Tracys are Americans. They lived and grew up in the US. So, when you write something, be aware of the differences between, say, the UK and US. Or Australia and the US. If you need someone to Yank-pick for you, I'm totally available to help.
Authors, make it easier for fellow Thunderbirds fans to find your work by using the World filter. This is why it's there, y'know? Supermarionation stories belong in TV. 2004 movie stories belong under Movies. And TAG has a filter all its own. Believe me, as a reader, I use the filter all the time, depending on what kind of mood I'm in--and all my own stuff is clearly marked.
Since I see more and more stories not using the World Filter, I figure a little walkthrough is in order:
Just to let the Thunderbirds fandom know: if you need a scene from a Supermarionation episode or one of the movies for use as a cover, let me know via email. I very likely have what you're looking for.
Currently on my plate:
Rewriting some of my older original works.
