Author has written 35 stories for SeaQuest, Star Wars, Dragonlance, Guild Wars, Warcraft, NCIS, Doctor Who, and Torchwood.
I have returned... ish. I am back to writing and I am revising a good number of my stories so please bear with me as finishing the WIP's depend on the revisions. Also, my paid writing is a current priority as I need to have money to live on too, lol. As usual, however, I use my fan fiction to keep me going in between dry spells in my original work.
One warning: As all writers must, I practice. A lot. Some of the unfinished tales here that seem "fragmented" are likely to remain so. Unless expressly stated otherwise in the disclaimer page, I give permission to other fan fiction writers to give a shot at either finishing them or tweaking them. Just give proper credit where it is due. On that same note, don't be surprised if suddenly those unfinished tales turn up suddenly finished... or radically different.
As always I love and appreciate constructive critiques and hearing from my readers so keep 'em coming!
A note about my spelling - I'm Canadian which means I sound American, write like a Brit, and throw in just enough Québécois (French) to keep everyone on their toes.
IF YOU LIKE MY FAN FICTION: Please consider supporting an independent author and buying my original work too. My official website is www.kristancannon.com and there are numerous social media links. Pick your favourite social media to follow and news on all of my work can be found on there!
DID I HAVE OTHER NAMES? Do you mean other online nicknames? Yes. I am known in the fan fiction circles as:
I have my favourites, like everyone else. I also dislike certain characters, like everyone else. However, I understand that my favourites may not be yours and who I dislike also may not jive with others opinions. However, what I hate on a monumental scale is character bashing. No character is perfect, no matter how much you love them. Every character, as much as you hate them, also has their good points or they wouldn't be someone else's favourite. It's one thing to bring out flaws in a character, but you have to be fair about it and not ignore their good points as well.
I will never write a bash-fic on any character. I may turn a character into a baddie based on a very real theory (and then, if it's feasible & believable, write about their eventual redemption), but I also write them as good guys too. I love reading them both ways as well.
