Author has written 9 stories for Harry Potter, Sense and Sensibility, Misc. Movies, Parodies and Spoofs, Song Fics, and Charlie's Angels: The Movie.Well, the musical's over. The final song has been sung for the last time. It is a humbling experience to revisit the empty, glitter-laden stage after the final performance of the show. The costumes, upon which has been spilled the blood, sweat, tears, and frustration of a close friend, hang on their ranks in a corner of one wing. The feathers from our leading lady's white gown are scattered across the stage, amongst a bouquet of plastic spring meadow flowers and a collection of screws and nails. The silence of this moment is only broken by the clattering of wood as the set is stripped of its history piece by piece. I built part of that set. I worked on it and around it. Seeing it torn down for the end of another year, the end of another show, is enough to bring tears to my eyes. I wonder if I've ever been so attached to anything since my childhood pacifier. The dust which I used to dutifully sweep before each performance lays littered along the crevices of the false buildings, fresh from Michael's shoes as he danced back and forth across that stage until his knees gave out and his toes bled in his taps.
But if only you could have seen the show. We brought the audience to their feet; we were so alive. That is perhaps the sole term for such an experience. Alive. It is enough to make any other concept of living dead.

NOTE: Recently I recieved a very rude flame from someone calling my characters Mary-Sues. I have personally developed these characters and put a lot of thought into them, and most of my stories were written when I didn't have as much experience with writing. The one flamed was one of my first stories, in fact. So, I don't mind if you tell me that I haven't done my research, but please keep in mind that we as authors put a lot of work into these stories.
UPDATE: Due to the number of rude, uneducated flames I have recieved today, I have decided to stop recieving reviews. If you wish to comment on my story and can do so without using the word 'Mary-Sue' or 'fangirl', please email me. Thanks. I am considering removing my first story, 'The Memory of Marianne', which I was darn proud of. If you do not wish me to do so, let me know with a review, but I may not see it for some time.
