Author has written 20 stories for Twilight.
I stumbled upon FanFiction about 2 1/2 years ago. I loved watching Degrassi despite being in my late 20's and it was/is my guilty pleasure.
My friends dragged me to New Moon (they had an extra ticket) and hey it wasn't too bad, so I went to Eclipse. Well, of course I went along with them to see Breaking Dawn. That started my Twilight addiction. I read all 4 books over Thanksgiving weekend (much to my husband irritation!) Bought the movies and finally watched them from beginning to end.
I love the characters of Twilight but...I'm not necessarily happy with what happened in the books. Seriously, you spend time talking about secondary characters like Jacob, Leah, Embry, etc. giving them these back stories that are unfinished. Jacob imprints on a baby! Leah is left alone, again! And we still don't know who Embry's father is? Come on! Give me answers.
This is were FanFiction has come in. There are tons of great writers, who have finished the back stories and made these characters come to life.
As far as myself, I'm forever 29 (at least I wish I was), married, and work full-time as a nurse. I'm in school pursing a Master's Degree. I've decided to try my hand at writing my own fic which I completed within 3 weeks. The muse was quite kind to me. I've posted an outtake to it focused on Seth/Rachel and I think that it's still a nice story even if you don't read Blue Moon.
9/27/12: I have decided I like to torture myself and now have a total of 4 WIPs. The last outtake for SMFI should be finished within the next mth. Imprinting is for Pansies is on the list to be updated (Parts 3 & 4 have been outlined; now to find the time to write them). Three Things has become it's own short story which I will post the remaining chaps once I've got it completed; this fic will be different from previous things I've written. Less attention to proper writing and it may seem a bit choppy but that's what I was going for. And lastly, my newest obsession which I've been wanting to write forever Still Breathing which is an AH Paul/Leah story. At this point I think it will be a collection of drabbles, chaps less than 1K words.
12/3/12: I've started a new story (only because I'm crazy) called Dark Solace. It's another Leah story. At this point I think it will be right around 20 chaps. I've got 13 typed up so far and will post a new chap every day or every other. The final pairing won't be revealed until towards the end but I am more than eager to find out what your guesses are, so make sure to review.
Lastly, I know that many of you are reading and it would be great to receive a review or two from you all. I take all reviews seriously and I am interested to find out what you think about my stories, plots, writing, etc. Even if you don't agree with something I've written, I want to hear about it. I can't guarantee I'll agree but I'm more than willing to accept differing opinions. I do respond to reviews when I have time so if you have questions, feel free to post them and I'll respond.
I am a member of Tricky Raven , which is an 18 site that is wolf-centric and also features original work. All stories that are posted here can be found on that site too.
(On a side note I am no longer a member and do not associate with Jacob Black N Pack (JBNP). Some of the work I was doing toward additional stories that tie into Kim and Quil's story TMTCTI is not available to me and I did not archive it. Any additional outtakes planned will be from scratch, so I apologize for the delay).
I've opened a Leah-centric site for all of you who love Leah as much as I do. Like similar private sites, it is required that you are 18 years of age or older. I have begun to start posting my stories there along with other writers/artists who love Leah. So I hope you'll come and join us: Diamond in the Rough.
