I could be considered weeaboo trash as I've been watching anime for a large portion of my life. Some of my favorite anime/manga are Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood, Death Note, No. 6, InuYasha, Dragon Ball Z, Tokyo Ghoul, Soul Eater, Fairy Tail, Kaichou wa Maid-Sama, Dengeki Daisy, and plenty more. If you have some suggestions then I'd love to hear them.
-Things Pertaining to My Fanfics-
Updating: I've suffered from writer's block here and there and just downright neglect to write. I may get back on that soon enough though.
That aside, my normal updating schedule is anywhere from once every other day to once a week during the summer. During the school year if I'm not being swamped with homework or not having trouble with any of my classes, I'd say my updating is anywhere from once a week to once every two weeks. It just depends on circumstance, really.
Blown Away: Complete. May revise the first chapter, otherwise I'll leave it as is for the most part since I'm still rather fond of it.
3 am: Complete.
Whiskey Lullaby: Rewrite Complete.
Servant of Evil: Hiatus.
Rolling Girl: Major changes to be made to the story even before the first full chapter is up.
Other Information Belonging to this Section:
Most of my fanfics consist of a song for inspiration that ends up being the title of the story and a pairing (well, for most of them. Let's face it, most fanfictions are fueled by fan service for ships. I mean, who wouldn't want to see their OTP be realized in a canon or non-canon form?)
You won't be seeing me write any Lemons or something along those lines, I'll leave it to those who are really into that sort of thing.
At the end of all my fanfictions, I ask my readers to rate my story on a scale one to five on each of the individual criteria I have listed below the request. I like having that at the end of the story when whoever is giving me a critique on my work gets the whole picture rather than a quick glimpse. One little sentence can change the entire direction of a story, after all. Despite this, I'm open to constructive criticism on all of my fanfics at any given point of them being written, completed or in progress. I would like to grow as a writer and one way to guarantee that I do would be to ask for a second opinion, so that's what I do.
I'm not big on writing one-shots since I'm more for the idea of a drawn out story that I don't normally see in the one-shots I read on this site. I prefer to write multiple chapter stories if I can help it. But, I don't know. The last time I wrote a one-shot was two years ago. Maybe I'd fair better at it now in comparison to back then.
I have the tendency to write the first chapter of a story as soon as it comes to mind. When I'm satisfied with what's written and can see myself expanding upon the scenario I just created, it's then that I publish the story. This is regardless as to whether or not I should technically be prioritizing some other story I have up before it. I don't mean to be annoying with this to anyone who sits there and waits for the next chapter of one of my stories only to see a completely new story show up on my profile instead of an update, but this is so I can come back to the idea at a later time. So I guess I apologize in advance for this.
