Other: I'm just weeaboo trash that lives on the internet and thrives in the typical teenage environment of my room. I've been on this site since 2011, if I recall. That's when I first learned of the beautiful thing known as fanfiction. I've grown up with Christian beliefs and I stick to my roots for the most part. On the other hand I'm not perfect and accept the fact that I do tend to swear like a sailor if the occasion arises where I either am in an uncaring mood or just feel like it's necessary (in cases such as someone irritating me to no end). And despite me not caring for the yaoi and yuri categories of fanfiction and anime, I have no problem with people belonging to the LGBT community. Many of my close friends who have been there thick and thin for me are apart of it and our differing beliefs and perspectives on life doesn't rob us of good friendships. :)
I've been 'corrupted'-as my mother likes to call it- by anime and video games since I was probably three. This is thanks to none other than my mom's brothers, my uncles. If I were to sit here and list from the top of my head the anime I have watched and like, this little bio would be longer than necessary. So to say the least I was introduced to anime via Naruto, InuYasha, and Dragon Ball Z. From there I've just watched a lot of things that have been recommended to me and I ended up loving anime such as Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood, Clannad/Clannad the After Story, Tokyo Ghoul, Death Note, and Hetalia. There are plenty more that I like but those are just a few that I wouldn't mind watching over and over despite how it would make me drown in feels. Hurray for feeling dead inside~!
(Just reading this entire thing may be enough of an indication that my sense of humor is a bit dark and I'm also sarcastic...)
On a more serious note... I've been battling depression, anxiety, suicidal thoughts, and self-harm for three years or so. After being hospitalized for a week and getting the help I needed to get on my feet again and try to keep walking on this road known as life, I decided to become committed to the idea of trying to recover rather than just not care anymore and allow myself to stay in the hell I trapped myself into. I've been clean for a little over a month now from self-harm. It's been rough but I'm getting through it. Being able to write fanfictions and entertain other people with my ideas has helped me keep going over the years and I wouldn't trade the nights spent in a dark room staring down at a computer screen for anything. If anyone needs help, even if I don't know you and we've never talked before. I'm here. Just PM me. Talking to someone online about problems isn't much, but it's something if it can keep someone going even just one more day rather than have someone give up before it's their time to leave this life.
-Things Pertaining to My Fanfics-
Updating: My updating streak hasn't been the best in the past due to a number of reasons such as Comcast's shitty customer service when it comes to complaints on poor internet connection and also the paragraph prior to this one.
That aside, my normal updating schedule is anywhere from once every other day to once a week during the summer. During the school year if I'm not being swamped with homework or not having trouble with any of my classes, I'd say my updating is anywhere from once a week to once every two weeks. It just depends on circumstance, really.
Blown Away: Complete. May revise the first chapter, otherwise I'll leave it as is for the most part since I'm still rather fond of it.
3 am: Complete. Due to a request or two I'll likely end up adding an extra chapter or two as well as an alternate ending to the story.
Whiskey Lullaby: This was originally complete under the pretense of it being a one shot fanfic, but after going back and rereading it I find it to be really cringe worthy due to the lack of depth to the story as well as just a rushed feeling to it. I replaced the original chapter one that was the whole story with chapter one of my revised version of it. Now it's no longer a one shot and is a multiple chapter story. I won't change key parts of the original but I am changing enough that I hope people who enjoyed the original will go back and read this version and feel as content with it as I am.
Servant of Evil: I kind of just got the first chapter published so I wouldn't let the idea fall to the wayside. I need to get back on working on it again, but that'll be after I'm done with my little binge-write for Whiskey Lullaby's rewrite.
Rolling Girl: Within the first chapter and the summary, I already ended up changing something. It's a bit minor, just the secondary main character's name that is mentioned in the summary. I'll get back on working on this also after a while.
Rewind: Oh Rewind... You special little cookie. This isn't what I thought I'd end up turning Blown Away's sequel into. It's not even really focusing on Annalise as much as I was originally suggesting in the summary. I may end up taking this down so I can sort out the whole thing and determine whether or not I'll upload a revised version of it or something along those lines. But for now it's on Hiatus.
Other Information Belonging to this Section:
Most of my fanfics consist of a song for inspiration that ends up being the title of the story and a pairing (well, for most of them. Let's face it, most fanfictions are fueled by fan service for ships. I mean, who wouldn't want to see their OTP be realized in a canon or non-canon form?)
You won't be seeing me write any Lemons or something along those lines, I'll leave it to those who are really into that sort of thing.
At the end of all my fanfictions, I ask my readers to rate my story on a scale one to five on each of the individual criteria I have listed below the request. I like having that at the end of the story when whoever is giving me a critique on my work gets the whole picture rather than a quick glimpse. One little sentence can change the entire direction of a story, after all. Despite this, I'm open to constructive criticism on all of my fanfics at any given point of them being written, completed or in progress. I would like to grow as a writer and one way to guarantee that I do would be to ask for a second opinion, so that's what I do.
I'm not big on writing one-shots since I'm more for the idea of a drawn out story that I don't normally see in the one-shots I read on this site. I prefer to write multiple chapter stories if I can help it. But, I don't know. The last time I wrote a one-shot was two years ago. Maybe I'd fair better at it now in comparison to back then.
I have the tendency to write the first chapter of a story as soon as it comes to mind. When I'm satisfied with what's written and can see myself expanding upon the scenario I just created, it's then that I publish the story. This is regardless as to whether or not I should technically be prioritizing some other story I have up before it. I don't mean to be annoying with this to anyone who sits there and waits for the next chapter of one of my stories only to see a completely new story show up on my profile instead of an update, but this is so I can come back to the idea at a later time. So I guess I apologize in advance for this.
